All clouds in him were raining.

Not the kind that you inhale blissfully standing by your window with a cup of coffee in hand. The kind that you stand drenched in, with acid water seeping into your oozing wounds burning your inside to the point that death seems like a gift.

Jungkook, who from the moment the trigger was pulled sat on the ground, paralysed. His ears had heard the confession. So it was true. Taehyung was right. Of course he was.

It was the day of the termination when the last page of the contract revealed a stapled letter on it. Letter asking him for one last 'little' favour for something he wasn't even sure of. The favour of escaping the prison. He could've puked his guts out at how much his stomach dropped at that. But that's the least he could do for someone he broke with his own two hands in the blink of an eye.

Moreover he was in for a life imprisonment anyway. What more did he have to loose?

So he agreed and followed Sam, who was already in this gimmick of deception somehow, and ran out of the prison with his nerves on his hands and life on the line. For one last favour to Taehyung.

Now, he could feel a hand rubbing his back up and down, perhaps Jimin's, but all he wanted at that moment for it was to stop because it burned. Everything burned.

Jin, almost on the brink of loosing consciousness, was dragged to sit on a chair after a solid dose of tremedol for a little pain suppression and a stern dismissal to be taken to the hospital until he spills out every damn thing.

It was all very very against the law now that only three cops, Jimin and Taehyung hovered above a badly injured felon conducting an unwarranted investigation before having his wounds tended. But so was pulling this one-act-play.

It was a one way road for Jin. And hence he spoke.

So sitting up straight and wincing through the deluge of tears that outflowed from his bloodshot eyes, a hand clutched for life around his dilapidated thigh above the poorly tied table cloth around it for blood control.
"I-i met Y-yoongi end of the y-year in 2003 when I was w-working as a b-bartender and Jungkook was visiting me that day....."

"You're overthinking for nothing Kook. Go home and relax." He mumbled monotonously filling drinks in the cobbler shaker making cocktails. At this point he wished for the other to catch on to the obvious annoyance in his voice but innocence above one particular scale is called foolishness.

"And isn't it Taehyung's birthday? Don't you have plans?"

"Oh I totally forgot. That's the actual reason I was here. I brought these beef skewers for you. I made these for a special dinner but he cancelled on me again, nothing new there." He bent down gulping again and brought up a carry-bag with a Tupperware in it. "I lost my appetite and then remembered how much you love these so I brought them for you."

The disinterest in Jin suddenly spun into genuine curiosity as he accepted the offering "Why are you even with him? Leave. You can find so much better!"

Jungkook smiled and got up from the bar stool finishing his glass of lemon water. "No I don't. And if I'm given a choice, I'd choose death first." He slung his backpack on his shoulders already footing to take his leave. "See ya later. Love you." He waved and bounced away.

The black overcoat clad pale looking male sitting right beside the other bar stool had been silently perusing every move with scrutinising eyes, however as soon as he lifted himself up to follow his scapegoat, a loud shattering noise of glass breaking sucked his attention in.
