Chapter 6

( Aboard the Nemesis)

Third person's POV

Megatron stood facing the window looking at the sky. He was thinking about the past and how Optimus has defeated him over the years again and again, but this time he was sure that he was finally going to end Optimus Prime and his Autobots. Once and for all.

" This time Optimus, I will have your head." Megatron said to himself.

Not to long after that, Arachnid walked behind him. " Everything is in order, Lord Megatron." she said.

He turned around and an evil grin formed on his face. " Excellent, Arachnid. Everything is going according to plan. Tell Soundwave to activate the ground bridge."

" Yes my lord." she said walking away.

This will be the day that the Decepticons will be victorious.

Becca's POV

My eyes began to flutter open. I haven't felt this well rested in years.

I began to push myself up, but felt something holding me down. Wait, is that a hand? I moved my head towards the person owning that hand and saw Optimus. Ohhhh..... I remember now. My cheeks turned red and I bit my lip. " Uh, Optimus?"

His optics started to open and he looked down from his chest. " Good morning." he said with a smile.

I smiled back. " Morning, big guy."

" Did you sleep well?"

I nodded. " Um... can I get up?"

He realized his hand was on top of me and smirked. " I'm sure you can manage."

I growled playfully at him and tried to wiggle myself free. " Optimus!"

" Yes, Becca?" he asked innocently.

" Get off!" I whined, banging his chest plate with my fist.

He chuckled and took his hand off of me. I got up onto my feet and kicked him, knowing that it wouldn't have hurt him, but made me feel satisfied. " Thank you and goodbye." I said turning around, but immediately stopping when I realized the how high is berth was. I turned back to him and gave him the puppy dog face. " Pwease?"

He laughed this time and shook his head. He picked me up and placed me down on the floor. We both started walking towards the hanger and saw everyone except Miko there.

" Hey guys, where's Miko?" I questioned.

" Chicken pox." Bulkhead answered.

" Aw, that sucks." I said feeling bad for her.

Bulkhead nodded sadly and turned towards Ratchet, who cleared his throat. " I'm sorry to interrupt your chit chat, but my scanners picked up a new mine that is filled with energeon. Since our supply is almost gone I would suggest that somebody leaves immediately before the Cons can locate it."

Optimus nodded. " I agree. Activate the ground bridge. Autobots, roll out!"

" Wait." I said before Ratchet touched the ground bridge controls.

Optimus turned towards me. " Yes Becca?"

" Can I come with you? I really would like to get out of the base for a bit." More like I need to. I thought to myself. I needed some fresh air to keep me from going insane from staying indoors all week.

Optimus thought for a moment. " I'm not too sure if that would be a good idea."

" Come on boss bot! It's just energeon mining, not a battle." Bee beeped.
