Narrowing the Field: Sudden Death Elimination!

Third POV

The rest of the Forest exam was definitely a tiring and eventful week, All four of us managed to get the correct scrolls and headed to the tower

Once we got to the building we got a visit from Iruka and then it was time for the next stage of the exam.

Everyone was in there dedicated lines, Naruto was first then Y/n, Sasuke and Sakura.

Both Sasuke and Y/n were clutching there necks and slightly wincing in agony

Damn it all.. This hurts..

The Hokage and proctor were explaining the third exam when Sakura looks at both of her friends who were in pain

"Sasuke.. Y/n I don't think you guys should participate in the Next exam.. you don't know what else this Mark will cause" Sakura whispers

Naruto Looks behind him as Sakura talks to both Y/n and Sasuke, He was wondering what's happening.

Y/n grunted and looked at the pinkette with softened eyes but Sasuke only glared slightly, he did not want to stop

"Please just quit" she said wiping her tears

Over by the Hokage, Anko and Ibiki were next to him,

"I knew it.." the Hokage states

Ibiki stared at both individuals, "What should we do?"

Anko right now is definitely feeling guilty for not getting to them in time and knows that Y/n is beating herself at the fact she couldnt do much, "We need to pull them from the exam and lock them somewhere with Anbu Bodyguards"

Kakashi walks over at decided to give his sense, "I don't think either of them would want to quit, Granted Y/n could leave and nothing would change for her but we both know that she's stubborn and would not want the others to think she's weak. For Sasuke he's part of the Uchiha clan, He won't back down"

Anko grits her teeth at Kakashi, "What are you talking Nonsense for?! I'll make them stop! By force if need be! The curse mark responds when one is building up Chakra and forcibly extract there strength!  It's a prohibited Jutsu and it eats away the body who uses any Jutsu .." She grips her own Curse mark and tsks, "I wonder if they are actually enduring it, They should be dead!"

The Hokage just stares at the two in thought

Sakura looks at Y/n and Sasuke in the eyes, "You guys are in no condition to fight properly"

Sasuke and Sakura begin to bicker back and forth about if they should keep going

Sakura clenches her fist, "No matter what I'll tell them about the Mark.." She then starts to raise her hand, Y/n gasps softly and grabs her hand,

"What are you doing?!" Y/n whispers

"I can't watch you both Suffer.."

Y/n sighs and looks Her in the eyes, "I promise if anything bad happens we'll stop but right now we're gonna keep going... Just Trust me"

The pinkette gives it some thought before she hesitantly nods, "Okay..I trust you.."

Time Skip

"Now then let's get right to it, The two names being pulled from the Board will start out the battles" Gekko Announced

I REALLY do not want to be first

If you think about it, being first isn't bad. Youll be done sooner

I guess..

The board was shuffling the names before it lands on two names

Yoroi Akado VS Sasuke Uchiha

*Didnt think it would be this soon* Sasuke Smirks as his Mark begins to act up, he clutches it harder

Y/n furrows her brows as she turns slightly to look at Sasuke, He seems mighty confident

She slightly groans as her mark begins to Writhe in pain, this is also getting annoying

"Now will the two opponents that have been displayed, come forward"

Both students start walking forward as Y/n turns and inspects the other Ninja, Ah he's on Kabutos Team...

"Now do any two opponents want to back out? Now is the time"

At the same time both males Spoke, "No!"

"Very well, *Cough* Now will the others, other than the opponents move to the upper section *Cough*"

Everyone disbands and head up to the upper section besides Team Seven, All three students walk to Sasuke with Kakashi walking towards them

"HEY KAKASHI SENSEI!" Naruto shouts as he jumps up and down

"Naru, Will you be quiet. you're hurting my ears " Y/n pouts as she rubs her ears

The blonde looks at her and turns red at the nickname, "O-oh sorry... heh" He nervously scratches his head

Kakashi comes behind both Sasuke and Y/n, "Oi... Sasuke...Don't use your Sharingan"

"So you knew?" Sasuke chuckles softly

"If you use it... it could endanger your life... I'll call it off otherwise.." Kakashi spoke as he continues walking to the stairs, "Good luck!"

Naruto and Sakura run behind Kakashi, leaving Y/n with Sasuke

"Hey.. If you lose.. You won't be able to fight me" She smiles as she puts her hand on his good shoulder

"I plan on kicking your ass" He smirks and flicks her forehead

"Yea In your dreams" She shakes her head as she sticks her tongue out at him before running up the stairs. She stands next to Kakashi and gives the Ravenette a big smile and thumbs up.

Don't do anything stupid Sasuke

He smiles at her and then faces his opponent, *Damn it.. I can barely use any regular Jutsu much less the Sharingan..*
