Third POV

It's finally the last of the exams, Y/n is currently waiting for Sasuke and Naruto  to arrive at the location of said exam.

She spots Gaara in a distance staring at her, she gives a friendly wave as he shyly waves back. She standing next to Shikamaru

"Man we're missing some people..." Shika says as he looks around

Y/n hums, where the hell is Sasuke and Naruto??

"They better get here soon"

All of a sudden Naruto comes flying in and skids across the ground.

"Naruto!" Both Y/n and Shikamaru comes forward and grabs the poor boy from the ground. The blonde comes too and jumps in the air pointing at the entrance

"Bulls! So many of them, coming this way!!"

Y/n blink once.. Twice.. "Uhh what.."

"Is this your point of an grand entrance.."

"No really!!"

"Sureeee Naru- Let's just get in line"

All three of them go back and stand in line, "My opponent isn't even here yet.. What a drag"

Y/n pokes Shikas cheek, "If he doesn't show then we might be opponents since I don't have one~"

Shikamaru stiffens before swatting her hand away, "Tsk.. If it is then I'll just withdraw.."

"HUHH?!? You are doing no such Thing Shikamaru!!" Naruto points his finger at the pineapple haired boy

Y/n agrees, "Yea thats no funnn"

"Hey you guys there.. don't be restless.. Throw out your chests and show your faces to the spectators" Genma says

Y/n sticks out her tongue, "Blah blah Genma-"

He deadpans and sighs heavily, "Troublesome child"

Naruto continues to look around, the crowd cheers

"You guys are the stars of this final round" Genma finishes

"Everyone thank you very much for coming to the village hidden in the leaves Chūnin Exams. We will now begin the final round of the nine last contestants of the preliminaries. Please watch till the end!" Lord Hokage announces

Genma then takes out a piece of paper, "Before we begin, We have a few adjustments.. "

He shows a list of the finalist besides Y/n.

Before said female was the ask Genma spoke up, "Now Y/n L/n will automatically be in last round due to odd amount of finalists"

The students look at the female before looking at Genma. Shikamaru looks in distress after seeing his opponent has changed to Temari.

"Say say... Sasuke still hasn't come yet..what'll happen?" Naruto scratches the back of his head

"In case a competitor doesn't arrive by the start of there match. He or she will lose by default"

Y/n crosses her arms

I wonder if Kakashi is holding him up

I swear if Kakashi makes him late I will personally kick his ass
