"Tony. Tony." Terra called.

I woke up, only to find Terra dressed and ready to head for school.

"C'mon. Up and at em." she said raising me up.

At times like this, I wish my speed was back, to make me do things faster. But again, my speed was gone, again.

It's actually annoying, if you ask me. It comes and goes.

***

"Bye!!!" Terra and I waved Mom as we headed for school.

As we walked pass through the forest, Nancy joined, and so did the others; except for Elsa, who we'd to wait, for her to finish preparing for school.

At last, we all got to school together and departed into our class rooms.

For some reason, school had been boring. No special events, nothing. I even started to miss how the teachers used to hate me.

"Good morning." a teacher greeted walking in.

Spoke too soon.

"Today we're writing a standardized test on Algebraic expressions." Mr. Walker announced.

He didn't even tell us.

I was almost 100% sure no student in the class was ready for it.

***

As we wrote, the whole class was silent. Everybody, including Elsa were scratching their heads, unable to figure out how to solve the questions.

I was also having a hard time, and when it got out of hand, I decided not to do it anymore.

"Tony. Won't you write?" Steven asked me.

"You kidding?" I said resting my head on the chair "There's no way I'm writing a surprise test."

It was now recess. The only thing I loved about today was, at the end of school, I didn't have to go home right away. We were having training for our upcoming game.

*****

"How was your training." Terra asked when I returned home.

"Cool." I answered, panting.

I wiped some sweat off my forehead and headed upstairs.

"Wait. Terra is cooking." I thought retracing my footsteps "I guess it's official."

I went back upstairs, but Mom met me on the way.

"You're late, again."

"This time it wasn't my fault." I told her "We'd a pointless training for our game tomorrow."

"Oh." she realized "Terra is cooking supper, so when she's done, I'll call you."

I continued upstairs as I thought out loud to myself.

"I'll be meeting Steven and the rest today at our usual, but Mom said when Terra is done, she would call me. What if by then, I will still not be here. Naaah. It just means I shouldn't take much time there."

I finally decided to go, and jumped through the window, into the sky.

*****

"Tony. Right on time." Jason yelled when he saw me landing from the air "You're about to witness the fight between Nancy and Steven."

"Finally. I've been dying to see Steven fight against Nancy. Water vs Fire." I thought siting beside Jason.

"Hey Steven." I called "Don't hold anything back. She's stronger than you think."
