TITAN 2 : SOS From The Future

Chapter 5

"What? How is that possible?" Steven asked.

He got up, took the frozen sword, sheathed it behind him, and sat again.

"You heard me right. I am you, from the future." he answered "My timeline was destroyed. As we speak, thousands of people are dead in my timeline."

"Yeah. I saw it. "Terra said holding his arm, affectionately "What happened?"

"Fierro happened." he frowned "7 years from now, my timeline, he appeared. He claims he comes for justice. He . . . he wiped out every Human on the earth. There're just a few humans left, and that's what I'm fighting for."

"Was he a Titan?" Terra asked.

"Something like that. He said he was a Destroyer. All nations came one by one to defeat him, but no Human stood a chance against him. When almost the whole world was wiped out, all the few Titans of the world gathered to stop him, but he defeated them all. We were the only ones who survived."

"You and who?" I asked.

"The future yous. Tony, Terra, Nancy, me, Spenser, Elsa and Jason. Every other Titan became weak, because they'd almost forgotten about T.I.TA.N, so when Fierro faught them he had no difficulties, but we'd been training at our abandoned house, so when he came to us he found it hard to eliminate us."

"See? I told you guys all that training was not for waste!" I said.

"Spenser was part of us?" Elsa asked him.

"Yes." he answered "For months, we've been trying to stop him. To give the world hope, but we failed. We found a resistance of Humans who were still alive, and General Alvares led it. They were scared to face Fierro, but we convinced them and we went into battle. Thousands of soldiers were killed that day. Now it was up to us, but he . . . he killed you all." he said, as tears fell.

"What?!" We all yelled.

"Starting with Spenser, then Jason, then Elsa, then Terra, then Tony, then . . . then Nancy. She was the last one of us who died." he removed the frozen sword from his back "She made this for me. With her last breath, she told me to run, in the time machine. Back to this timeline."

"Did Fierro have a reason?" Terra asked.

"All he told us was, Humans were a mistake; and that Humans, mortals, should've never existed. He said he was here to clear the world of Humans, to save the universe from distraction, and to create a beautiful utopia." he explained.

"So, that's it? You fled here. How pathetic." Steven said folding his arm.

"No. I came back here for re-enforcements." he answered "Come with me to the future and let's defeat Fierro."

It's actually a lot to take in. In the future, I die? This Fierro must be super strong. But if the future me couldn't defeat Fierro, what makes him think I could.

"So why didn't you go to the time he was a baby and kill him." Steven asked him.

"Time doesn't work that way."he said putting us into complete confusion.

"He is right." Terra agreed, which confused us more.

"What do u mean." Steven argued "It's only logical. If you change the past it should affect the future. In fact, all movies that deal with time prove that. There's Time heist, Future freaks, and . . . and . . ."

"Into the future." I continued.

"Yeah." Steven agreed.

Terra sighed "I know there is no way you could understand but listen carefully." She took a deep breath "When you travel to the past, your future becomes your past and your past becomes your present which now can't be changed by your past but can be changed by your fu . . ."
