TITAN 2 : SOS From The Future

Chapter 8

We landed on the ground so hard I was sure the time machine was damaged.

It was really dark and I was certained Mom would kill us if we got home.

"Oh my goodness!" Josh yelled helping us down.

"Thank God you're here." Steven said, with a sigh.

He took us to his home and when we regained our full strength, we started to tell him what happened.

"Yeah. It turns out Fierro was stronger than we thought." Steven said taking a bottle of water out of the fridge.

"So, you lost?" he asked.

"Real bad." Elsa answered.

"But you've two destroyers. How could you lose?" he asked.

"Anyway, good news. It turns out the future me and Tony didn't die." Nancy told him.

"Tony." Terra called "We need to get back home" she said.

"We'll be back." I told them as I turned my eye yellow.

We got there and opened the door.

She was still awake sitting on the couch. When she saw us, she just stood still, as if she'd seen a ghost. She got up, walked in front of me and slapped me.

"Where've you been?!" she yelled.

"Mom . . ." Terra said.

"You shut up, young lady." she cut Terra out with a yell "Look at you. You've bruises and wounds. What the heck have you gotten yourself into. I've called thousands of police stations. Tony, what's wrong with you."

"You tell her, Terra." I said sadly.

"So we journeyed to the future to save the Humans there." Terra said explaining everything.

"Why didn't you tell me?" she asked.

"Cause we needed to go real bad and we figured you wouldn't allow us." she answered "It's not Tony's fault."

"Well, did you win?" she asked.

"No." I answered "That's just the problem. We need to go back."

"You ain't going back Mister." she disagreed "Now go back to your room. If you're hungry, there's food in the fridge."

"Thanks Mom. But I've lost my appetite." I said walking upstairs sadly.

"Wake up, Tony." Terra called "We need to go to school."

"What's the point?" I asked pounding my head into the pillow.

"Hurry. I don't want to be late because of you." she said helping me up.

Soon we were done and heading for school.

"You guys are still going to school?" Steven asked walking towards us with Nancy beside him.

"I know, right?" I said with a giggle.

"Can't believe Fierro defeated us easily. We'll go back and defeat him, right?" he asked and Terra looked at me "Don't tell me you've already lost hope."

"Yeah." I answered as we approached Jason's house.

"But Mom said we aren't going." Terra whispered as Steven pressed the bell.

"I'm ready." Jason said coming out with his bag.

"Where were you kids?" Miss Zing asked angrily "What? Saving the world with your powers?"

"She wish she knew." I whispered to Steven and he giggled.

"Quiet!" she yelled "D'you know how worried your parents where? 2 days detention for you all, even you Terra! Starting from tomorrow."

"Here we go again." I sighed taking my bag to leave.

When we arrived, we were summoned to Miss Zing's office, all of us, and it wasn't pretty.

I only wish we could stay that long to cover up our detention punishment. Oh wait. I don't.

Steven, Elsa and I entered the class and suddenly, everybody started to gaze at us.

"Where the heck have you been, peep squeak?" Jackson asked.

"Trust me, you don't want to start with me." I told him putting my bag down.

"What are you gonna do about it." he said throwing his arm to push me.

But when he hit me, I didn't move.

"My turn." I said touching him with the tip of the nail of my little finger.

He suddenly jerked backwards into the wall and everybody gasped.

"Hmmm. I thought your power was strength." I giggled "Felt like the least power an ant could sprout out of it's body to punch."

Then Mr. Walker walked in. Not even asking what had happened he took out a paper and pen and started to write.

Naah. It doesn't matter, since I might even die in this mission of ours.

"Nice one, Tony." Elsa said with a giggle "Really put Jackson at his place."

They all went to their various homes, but Terra and I stayed with Nancy. Terra started to fix the time machine and Nancy and I went into forest where the river was, not far away from the house.

"Should I heal you?" she asked.

"You; can do that?" I asked her surprised.

"Water can do a lot of things." she smiled.

"Thanks, but I learnt how to heal. Terra taught me." I told her waving my arm around the wound and it started to heal itself.

"You're amazing." she told me.

"How?" I asked her.

"You faced Fierro, all on your own." she said "You were one heck of a challenge."

"But, it wasn't just me. You helped, so did Terra and Steven, and the future me, future Steven and future you. Elsa too helped. Even Spenser helped." I told her.

She knelt down and started to wash her hair, and I also knelt down.

"Pinky promise me you won't die." I told her bringing my little finger out.

She smiled and put hers in.

"We'll both try our best." she said kissing my cheek.

"You . . . kissed me?" I said surprised.

"On the cheek." she said getting up and I also stood up.

"Still counts."

"You can't blame me. We may die by the next few hours." she said.

"Really?" Steven said showing up "While you were making out, Terra finished fixing the time machine."

We just giggled, and followed him. We arrived back at the house. Standing in front of the time machine, I couldn't believe we were going back there, again.

"Get in guys. We ain't got all day." Spenser said as we entered.

Sorry mom. I'll have to disrespect you, again.

We vanished.
