I hope you like the story😊.

King's POV

I don't really like camping. In fact I almost hate it; all the bugs, the forest animals, random smells... I do love rivers, lakes, waterfalls etc. tho. And because of that particular reason I joined the school camping trip. To see the river.

At the moment I'm walking along the river and frankly I don't know where I'm going, just following the water. At least that way I know how to get back. Or so I thought.

Ram's POV

I helped my friends build the tents. That's my favorite part to do. And just as we finish I notice seniors panicking. I went to ask what's wrong and they say P'King is gone for quite some time now and they're starting to worry.

I don't know who that is and I honestly don't care who it is. I volunteer to go look for him since I'm very familiar with this forest. I used to come here with my parents as a little kid.

"It's getting late. Here take the backpack. You've got some food in it and warm clothes for walking back at night." I take the backpack. On it I tie a fitnessmat and the smallest tent I could find, since I doubt we'll be able to return before nightfall.

King's POV

It started getting darker so I decided to go back. I had no problems following the river until I came to the confluence. Now I don't know which part of the river to follow since I don't remember which way I've come from before.

It's almost dark now and I sure as hell don't want to get lost in the middle of the night so I take my phone out of the pocket to call my friends.

No reception. Great. Now I start to panick. Do I really have to stay here all night? What about all the mosquitos attacking me? Will they stop soon? I sit on the closest rock and I start crying.

I know - it's meaningless and it doesn't help but I honestly don't know what else to do. Until I see a flashlight.

Ram's POV

Seniors said they last saw their friend by the river so I started following it. The entire time I was calling out for P'King until I heard someone cry. I stopped yelling so I could follow the sound.

It was dark so I was walking around with a flashlight so I wouldn't fall or something. I came to the confluence and I found the crying man sitting on a rock.

The moment I saw him I lowered my light not to blind him and he immediately jumped up saying: "I- ... I-... I wasn't crying..." while wiping his eyes. I offered him a tissue. "Of course you weren't."

I managed to calm him down rather fast by saying I know where we are and how to get back. But since we are far from camp we have to spend the night here which uspet him immediately.

King's POV

"Here? With no tent? No other people? What if something attacks us? What if mosquitos eat me? What if-" I stop when I notice he's not listening because he's building a tent. I try to help as much as I can but I really am not good at that.

When it's done I see him putting a fitnessmat in front of it. "So. You sleep in the tent, I'll sleep outside so nothing bites you. Here. Have a sandwich and a warm sweater."

We sit on the mat and eat. I don't like the idea of me having the tent while he sleeps outside if he's the one who saved me. But I don't say anything.

Ram's POV

Soon after he goes inside the tent some raindrops start falling but really not a lot so I don't mind.

King's POV

I hear a raindrop and after a while another one. Now I really start feeling bad. It's true the tent is rather small given he's quite muscular but I think we could both sleep inside if we tried. Therefore I open the zipper.

"Nong. Why don't you come inside? What if there's a storm or something? What if it blows away the tent? I don't like storms, they scare me to death. Please come inside..."

"P'. You're such a crybaby." He teases me but I think he bought it. He sits up and kneels next to the mat. He puts it over the backpack and weights it with some rocks. Then he turns to me.

Ram's POV

I squeeze myself to the wall of the tent to give the senior enough space. I feel him move every once in a while but it doesn't bother me and it's not often.

Then all of a sudden it starts rainning harder and we can hear the wind blowing. He starts shaking a bit and when we hear a single tunder he screams. And jumps in place.

"Are you okay?" I ask and turn sideways now facing him. "Almost... Why are you so squished tho?" he tries to joke through his fear.

King's POV

"So you can have your space..." Is he kidding me? I thought he's like scared of me or something.

"Does it look like I need that right now?" I ask slightly irritated and pull him closer. He's probably a bit shocked cause his body feels stiff, but after I lay on his chest and curl up to him he soon loosens up and hugs me.

His strong hands around me make me forget about the ongoing storm outside. His calm and even breathing makes me relax and I don't even know when I drifted off to sleep.

I wake up alone. The sweater he was wearing is put over my legs. I get up leave the sweater in the tent and go find the junior. Shit, I don't even know his name.

Ram's POV

King walks out of the tent still looking sleepy. I wave to him and he walks to the fire confused. "When did sou manage to make a fire and how on earth did you catch two fish??"

I smile. "Good morning to you too P'." He smiles nervously and replies: "Morning... Oh, right. I don't even know your name yet." "It's Ram." He nods and stares at the fish I'm baking over the fire.

They're done in no time so I show him to sit next to me. We eat.

King's POV

It's only when I stop being hungry that I notice he's slightly shaking. Of course. He left the sweater when he went out and he probably got wet when he caught our breakfast so it's normal for him to be cold.

I sit closer to him, hug him from the side and rub his upper arms. "I should return the favor..." I murmur. "What favor?" "You know... You calmed me and all that... Plus you came to look for me and even made me food."

He smiles and nods. He holds my hand to prevent me for rubbing his arm and snuggles up closer to me. I turn sideways and hug his waist with my legs. Before I know it he manages to lift me up somehow and place me on his lap.

We sit there hugging with our faces burried deep in each other's shoulder.

"Should we go back?" I ask afraid he'd be hungry or annoyed with me or something. "Not yet..." he whispers but soon adds: "Unless you want to." "Not really. I like it here..."

We stay next to the fire as long as possible and return when we get too hungry to stay.
