When that was said, let me tell you. I was honestly expecting some chopping off of heads, public humiliation, a bit of torture here and there, maybe a bit of whining too, if we were lucky.
What i did not expect was the booming laughter of some amused royals whose breakfast we so rudely interupted.
At this point, i was starting to question the sanity of each of the students who went to this school.
"Haven't you eaten yet?" The angel asked in confusion.
"Yeah, we have. Just not anywhere near enough to satisfy this raging beast called hunger," Berry replied, a bit sarcastically, if I may add.
Well being the kind, humble and gentle soul he was , the dark fae finally offered us some food.
"Well that was really good," Berry said with a full stomach, after we had eaten our fill.
"Seems slightly better than the food offered in the caferteria though, " Proclaimed Henny, his face filled with suspicion.
"I wonder why ," commented Fifi.
"OK, enough with beating around the bush. Why are you guys so special. You literally have a whole bloody garden to yourselves, " I said, feeling annoyed and just a little bit salty with all this favouritism that is clearly at hand here.
The people in front of us looked really surprised at what we had just said. Like they expected us to know who they are with one glance. You could really feel the tension in the air at this point.
"I think this is the part where you introduce yourselves, " Fifi said, rolling his eyes like it was the most obvious thing in the world.
"Wait, hold on a minute. You 4 not only trespassed on our private property ,intruded on our breakfast, ate our food and completely disregarded our superior social standing and status in society by treated us like we're your equals with absolutley no respect what so ever. And you want us to introduce ourselves first, you must be joking, " the light fae lady said with a scorning and distasteful tone looking down arrogantly on us.
"Imagine, the audacity of this bitch, I thought light fae were all glitter and smiles and cheeryness. Well I guess not, really breaking the stereotypes are we " I thought in distaste.
"Oh for heavens sake Genevieve. Can you not shut up for all that's worth? I know you may enjoy hearing the sound of your own voice mixed with the cries of suffering from those whom you are scolding, but your voice is like the grating of a knife against a chalk board. This is exactly why you don't have any other friends but us. You're really irritating and no-one else has the patiance to deal with you, " the mer girl with long waist length hair said impatiently, saying what we were all thinking.
'But damn girl, who pissed in your cheerios this morning, " I thought, snickering to myself.
Genevieve went silent after that, turning a bright shade of red, either from anger or embarrassment
"OK, take it easy Sabrina. We still have guests in our midst, don't we. Let's try to be good hosts shall we , " the other mer girl with shoulder length hair said, trying to calm her irritated sister.
"Well, sorry for that. We weren't really expecting guests today. So let me introduce us to you.
My name is Saraphina and, this is, my twin sister Sabrina. You can call her Bree and me Raph.
The female light fae over there is Genevieve. She's a bit of a rule follower. You can call her Eve.
The male dark fae to the left is Amaury. He's a cinnamon roll despite his looks. You can call him Ry.
The angel over there at the corner is Judikas. Despite his puppy like looks, he's a complete sadistic bastard. You can call him Jude.
The demigod to my left is Dionysus, and no he's not related to Percy the son of Poseidon. You can call him Dion.
Well that all of the introductions, would you like to introduce yourselves now, "
"OK, first of all were all shifters .
My name is Tyberius and I'm a beta werewolf shifter. You can call me Ty.
The twins are Hendrix and Griffin, who are beta eagle shifters. You can call them Grif and Rix.
And then last is Lucifer who is a beta puma shifter. You can call him Luke.
That's all the introductions, " Berry concluded.
"Well now that we've finished introductions can you tell us why you're so important that you get a whole freakin garden. And don't tell us that it's because you're in some sort of elite student council, " I said a bit impatiently .
"Sure thing. Well as you see, this prestigious school focuses more on status and wealth. So the more power your family has the higher up the school hierarchy you are. The school is divided into different groups. The elites, those who got in using power and status. The renown, those who got in because they were recognized for their great achievements but still have status and power. The middle class, those who got in for an extraodinary talent but don't have the the status the elite and renown have and are fairly wealthy. The commoners, those who have absolutley no status or power and got in using scholarships because they were that extraordinary and the school had to have them.
The elites are usually the successors of the family names or in our case any child of the leading families of each race. So basically because we have the most power within the students of the school, we are treated more importantly than every other student, "Jude told us.
"That about answers your question. Is there anything else you need to know or is that all, " Jude asked seeking confirmation.
"Well there is one thing. Remember that nasaly, snot faced fae with the squeaky voice from the previous chapter, " Fifi said looking at us.
"Previous cha-"
"Well, remember he said something about the "beast eating us up". Who is this so called 'beast' and why the hell would he eat us up. Is he a pervert or something, "Henny said cutting Eve off before she tried to find out much.
"Also, what's up with the schools north and south sides. Why aren't we allowed to go there because it says that those two areas are forbidden to enter. We also aren't allowed out past 23:00 or we will face the risks suspension or even expulsion. What's so bad that they don't want us to see, " Ty asked right after.
After Henny and Ty had finished their statements, it seemed as though the colour had left everyones face, even Jude.
That brought up even more questions and answered none of the questions asked.
Who is this Beast who's name brought fear even to the likes of Jude.
Why are people so afraid of him.
What did he do to make himself seem so despicable.
Why haven't we seen any sign of the people who allegedly follow the Beast.
Are the Beast and the south and north parts of the school connected somehow.
Why does the school seem so divided.
Why aren't students on the east and west sides allowed to go the north and south side.
And finally, what is the school so desperate to hide the south and north sides of the school.
All of these questions and no answers. More questions then answers.
What is the real truth between Arch's Academy.
Will these questions ever be answered.
