The beauty of my country, the place where I was born, where I grew, the place where I walked, ran and fell, where I cried, where I was the most happy, the most sad, the most excited, and the most that I'm proud of...
𝘐 𝘴𝘪𝘨𝘩𝘦𝘥. I'm gonna miss this place so much.

The beautiful gardens, the fascinating mountains, the warmth of the sun, the surreal culture,the best beaches,the mouth-watering food, the wild and energetic parties...I'll miss them all.
All my favorite days and nights begone from me for the rest of my life...I can't imagine.

But yes I have to...I chose this for myself, for my undeniable love for New York.

"Estarás bien hermosa" my cousin assured from the driver's seat (You'll be fine beautiful). I locked my eyes with his through the rear view mirror and smiled.

"Estoy bien. Es solo que los voy a extrañar a todos. Mi españa. Mi padre. Mi madre. Mi prima hermana. Mi primo hermano. Mi tio. Mi tia y tú"
( I'm fine..it's just that I am gonna miss you all.My spain. My father.My mother. my cousin sister. My little cousin brother. My uncle. My aunt and you..)

At the end I was a mess. Tears welled my eyes and was about leak down when he said. "Nosotros también to extrañaremos". His voice was strained but he continued. " Pero en cuanto a mí y tu prima hermana.. "he chuckled.
" Pequeña kiara, pronto nos trasladaremos a New York para molestarlo"he smiled and winked at me. ("We'll miss you two." His voice was strained but he continued. " but as for me and your cousin sister" He chuckled" Little Kiara.. we are soon going to shift to New York to disturb you")

"Fuck you Alejandro."

"Gladly."

I gasped. Sure,I had a thing with him two years back but him being my cousin stopped us from going any further. He was tall and fit with his toned abs and muscles. He was handsome with his blue eyes and brown hair...girls would fall for him but I can't have something more than a brother-ship with him...I just can't.

My thoughts were cut short by his phone ringing.

"Hello" He answered. "Si.. daré... Si" He handed over his phone to me.
"Hello" I said.

" oh my baby, don't forget to call when you get there. "
"Mama, te llamare.. Don't worry, mom, I will call you for sure."
"Baby, why is your phone switched off"
My dad's was wrong from the background.
"Ahh..I'm sorry, Papa, I forgot to switch it on after charging it. "
"Ah ok.. Be careful. "
"Ok.. Adios."
"Adios baby"my mom sobbed.

I got the phone and handed it over to Alejandro.
" I just said goodbye to all of them before leaving, now all of them are calling me again. " I complained as I switched on my phone to see Kiara's texts flooding.

Alejandro chuckled and turned the steering towards the airport. He stopped the car and I jumped out quickly, partially due to my excitement and partially due to my nervousness of entering into an unknown city alone.

Alexandro helped me with my luggage and as soon as we reached the security, he gathered me tightly in his arms.

I hugged him back tightly, breathing in his sweet cologne and drowning myself in the feeling of home that I'm gonna miss soon. He kissed my forehead and left me with a sad smile on his face and a small wave of his hand. Tears welled up my eyes, but somehow I controlled it and turned towards my new life.
