The next few days were quiet and uneventful, Americas bump grew bigger and England cared for him, going out to the local McDonalds to buy him the Smartie McFlurrys he had been craving. England hated going to that place but did it anyways, if he didn't it upset America and England hated seeing him upset. All the nations knew about America now, apparently Canada had let it slip at a world meeting when questioned about why America and England hadn't shown up for the last couple meetings. They were all happy for America, they asked who the 'father' was but were always denied an answer. Japan and China had shown up at the house a few times to say hello and visit, but they were politely asked to leave after a few minutes and they understood, America and England had their hands full preparing for the arrival. There was still many months until the birth but England wanted to be prepared, and he said that at the rate Americas stomach was growing the birth would be early. Nations healed quicker than normal people so the baby would grow quicker, so of course it would only make sense if it was born quicker. England had tried to make dinner but for some reason America refused, he insisted on making dinner even though he struggled to walk around. England protested but eventually left it, he didn't want to argue with America about something so pointless. He sat at the kitchen table, waiting for the food to be ready. Soon enough it was and America placed a white plate in front of England.
"What up, love. You seen distant?" America asked, England had been staring into space for the last couple of minutes, completely ignoring the food in front of him.
"Oh it's nothing-did you his call me 'love'?" England said, a cocky grin appearing on his face.
"Oh sorry!" America blushed and England laughed. His British speaking habits were rubbing off on the American. How funny.
"Well, I was just thinking. Have you thought of any names for your baby?" England pondered.
"No, not really. Do you have any suggestions?" America asked, his blush fading.
"Well. If it's a girl how about Amelia or Alice?" England suggested as he started to eat his food.
"And if it's a boy?"
"Hm? Allen or Oliver" he said in between mouthfuls. America nodded at the suggestions, they were good names, and they didn't remind him of France in any way, so that was a plus. Personally America would want to call a girl Liberty and a boy Hero, although he wouldn't tell England this...he would laugh. Lots.
"D'you think it'll be a country?" America asked.
"I doubt it, country's are found roaming there land, waiting to be discovered. Although, there is a possibility it could be a state?" England said, a curious look on his face.
"A new French state..." America said quietly.
"No. An American one, France doesn't want the baby so you will not give him the privilege of your land" England said sternly. America whimpered and nodded, his stomach had grown more, it always caused him some pain when it did that.
"Would you like to watch some television?" England said, getting up and offering America a hand. He took it and followed England's lead to the livingroom, England took the remote and switched the TV on, a comedian was on, America didn't know who it was though, they sounded British.
"Who's that" America asked as he rested his head on England's lap.
"I do believe that's Michael McIntyre" England mumbled, his eyes on the screen. America wasn't really paying attention to the comedian, he was talking about meeting a Scottish tennis player in a restaurant, America didn't really care, he was too tired.
"Do you think it'll be a boy or a girl?" America asked sleepily, England shrugged.
"I don't really mind, as long as they're not as annoying as Sealand...bloody git" he mumbled, America smiled, even though he said that about the self proclaimed country he cared about Sealand, although he would never admit it.

When it got dark England helped America up to bed. He helped the younger country up the stairs since it took him a lot of effort on his own.
"Goodnight America, sleep well" he said as he left Americas room, America was already half asleep and he mumbled his goodbyes, England didn't know what he said but it was probably along the lines of 'night Iggy'. America has started to call England 'Iggy' again, but England didn't really mind anymore, it brought a small smile to his face whenever he said it. As he closed the door and headed to the guest room he heard a loud gasp, follows by a cry. He instantly turned back around and ran into Americas room.
"America!?" He exclaimed "what's wrong?!"
"The-agh!- baby!" He cried, his face contorted into a pained look. "It's the baby! It's coming!"

Did anyone notice what we did with the names? If you know then you can get a scone and some tea~
