Mingyu POV (17 years old)
Today is the day!
The day I turn 17 and the day I get to start talking to my mate. I'm kinda nervous though. Don't get me wrong, I'm and Alpha and I have good looks if I do say so myself.

It's just.. I'm clumsy most of the time and sometimes I get told I don't act like an Alpha and I'm worried my mate wouldn't accept that. "Where is the Birthday boy?" Jeonghan-hyung said in a song-song voice as the others started piling into my room.

"Hyung! Your 17 now!"
I smiled and patted Dino's head. He's the youngest so we all tend to dote on him a lot though we do give him hell with the teasing sometimes.
"I guess I am.."
Seungkwan, having been my close friend since we were little noticed that something was wrong.

"Hyung.. what's wrong? You sound.. worried or sad?" The others all turned to me and looked at me with a questioning look.

"Hyung, what's wrong? THERE'S NO NEED TO WORRY BOOSEOKSOON IS HERE!" Hoshi screamed, trying to lift up the mood and it did. Mingyu laughed at his friends antics and sighed.

"I'm just worried that my mate won't accept me."
Joshua-hyung tilted his head and asked, "What do you mean? You're literally perfect."
"Yeah hyung! Don't let others tell you otherwise." Dokyeom added.
"It's just... I'm clumsy and I don't act like an Alpha even though I am one. What if they don't accept it?"

"If they don't accept it, it's their loss. You're like a freaking model and being clumsy is what makes you Kim Mingyu. You get told that you don't act like an Alpha because you are so caring towards others. I'm sure your mate will like that. If they don't then.. their gonna catch some hands." Jeonghan-hyung said as he looked at me.
"What's most important right now is that you be confident. What are you waiting for you chicken? Scared?" Minghao asked tauntingly. It's just how we were. I playfully glared at him kicked them out of my room so that I could concentrate. But before he could-

"That fucking asshole. Doesn't mean I'm an omega means that I'm useless. He's the useless bitch. Not me. I swear-"
"Erm- Hi?"
"Oh my gosh- you scared me."
"Haha sorry.. I was going to try talking to you but I heard you before I could.."
"Oh yeah- don't mind my ranting. Wait- are you 17 this year?"
"Yeah! I just turned 17 today!"
"Woah- so my Alpha is going to be younger than me?"
"How old are you?"
"I'm a year older. Not gonna lie I thought you were just ignoring me at first."
"Please- I would never."
"You seem pretty gentle for an Alpha you know?"
"Yeah.. I get that a lot.. I hope you don't mind it?"
"Why would I? I would prefer that over having an Alpha who doesn't know how to have fun."
"That's really nice to hear. I'm Mingyu by the way. I'm from the carat pack."
"Mingyu? Kim Mingyu?"
"That's me!"
"I heard about you a lot. I'm Wonwoo from the ARMY pack."
"Wonwoo? Jungkook's older brother?"
"Yep!"
"Who knew? Nice to see you again Wonwoo-hyung!"
"Gosh. We're mates. Stop calling me hyung already."
"Then what shall I call you? Baby?"
"That actually sounds nice."
"I- I always thought you hated things like these.."
"Don't judge a book by it's cover! Anyway, can you come over? To meet of course. Also Jungkook misses his friend. He said to bring Seungkwan and Minghao if you can."
"Alright I'll bring Seungkwan and Minghao. See ya baby!"

Mingyu immediately jumped out of his bed and went to find Seungkwan only to find him with the rest in the living room. "SEUNGKWAN-AH! MYUNGHO! LET'S GO!"
Seungkwan started whining at how he was about to with Soonyoung in some game, "I ALMOST WON! GO WHERE?" "TO THE ARMY PACK! MY MATE IS JUNGKOOK'S BROTHER!"
"Wait- YOUR MATE IS WONWOO-HYUNG? THAT EMO PERSON?" Minghao asked in disbelief. All I did was nod my head and I dragged them out of the house, not before promising Jeonghan to get back safely.

We shifted into our wolf forms and headed to the ARMY pack house.

Time skip
We arrived at the borders of the ARMY pack and a body immediately came crashing at us.
"IT'S BEEN TOO LONG! HOW ARE YOU GUYS?"
"KOOKIE! ITS BEEN WAY TOO LONG- HOW ARE YOU SO FULL OF MUSCLES NOW? YOU WERE BASICALLY A BUNCH OF STICKS" Seungkwan screamed, shocked.
"It's nothing. Anyway... MINGYU! I heard that you're Wonwoo-hyung's mate?" I smiled at him but before I can reply him-

"He is my mate." We all turned around to see Jungkook's older brother, who is now my mate. Wonwoo walked towards me and started scenting me. I looked at him confused as he broke the hug and he just replied, "There's too many sluts staring at you.." I laughed and saw him blushing. 'Why is he so adorable?' I thought to myself.

"I think we should let those two be. Jungkook show us around yeah? It's been too long since we last been here." Minghao said and the three ran away without another word, leaving me and Wonwoo there.
"You got a lot taller since I last saw you." He said trying to start a conversation. "And you got a lot more adorable." He slapped my chest making me laugh as he lectured me about how I shouldn't do that in public.

He brought me around the pack and I met his parents. Apparently they were really happy that I was his mate because they've known me for a really long time already. After catching up with Mr and Mrs Jeon, along with Jungkook and Wonwoo, he brought me to the library which is apparently his favorite place. I also learnt that he liked gaming too.

When I got back home that day, all I could think of was Wonwoo. He was just- perfect. And the way he scented me because other omegas were staring at me was just- adorable.

I knew from then on, I'm not letting anything take him away from me. Ever.
