Chapter Fifty-Four

2nd Person View

You landed somewhere in the floor of death with Karaka and the others.

I need to find Khun.

You tried to run but Karaka stopped you.

"Tie her up." Karaka said as she pushed you towards the cloaked person.

"Rude." You said. "Why do you even want me here? We both know I won't cooperate."

You got tied up by the cloaked man. He tied you up tightly. He looked at you before pushing you towards Karaka.

"Stop pushing, goddammit!" You yelled. "I can escape from this easily, you know."

"Yes, that's why I brought this." Karaka put a familiar bracelet on your wrist.

"What the f...? Where did you get this?!" You asked.

"It was a gift from your brother." Karaka replied.

"Of course," You replied. "Why did you bring me here anyway?"

"You're useful." He replied.

"You know I won't do what you ask, right?" You said.

"I know someone that can make you cooperate." Karaka replied.

"If that's Hamako, you're dead wrong." You said. "Who is it?"

"I don't see the need to tell you." He replied.

"But you're going to use them, don't I have the right to know?" You asked.

"Oh my god, can someone put a tape on this girl's mouth?" Karaka said.

The cloaked guy put a tape on your mouth. You continued talking but all they could hear was 'mmph, mm, hmm, hmph'.

"That's better." Karaka said.

"W-where is this?!" Yura asked.

"Mmph hmph mm." You replied.

"Inside the floor of death." Karaka replied. "This place is the floor of death... I suggest that you be careful. This is the place inhabited by the dead who have lost their souls. It's a dangerous place even for rankers."

"Hmm mm! Mmph mm hmm hmph!" You said.

"Ah... Right." Yura said. "Shall I take out white now?"

"No, it's better like this for now. Since I'll have to protect you if a gatekeeper happens to appear. For now, two are better than three." He replied.

"hmm hm mm hmm hmm mm hmm!" You yelled.

"Um... By the way, Karaka. Based on the rumors that we've heard, in order to enter the floor of death, you need to 'offer the soul of one person'... Do we not need a soul to offer?" Yura asked.

"It's not just the soul of one person, you must offer the souls of everyone entering.

"Hmph?!"
"Huh...?!"

"Don't worry, we're going to enter using a hidden route anyway. Even if an enemy appear, just stay still and don't panic." Karaka said.

"hmm mm. Hmm hmph hmm mmm hmp mmph mm!" You concluded.

"Sure~ got it!" Yura replied.

Karaka grabbed your rope and handed it to the cloaked man. He sighed before pulling you along with them.

"K.. Karaka! Just listen to me for a moment!" One of the 'servants' said.

"Hmm! Hmm mmm hmph hmm!" You agreed with the 'servant'.

"There's no time to waste. If they've disappeared, you must find them somehow. They're after the thorn fragments." Karaka said.

"But master Joe is busy right now!!!" He replied. "You've come such a long way. Why don't we have a little teatime?!"

"hmm mmph!" You said wanting to grab a tea.

"I don't recall ever eating food given to me from another territory." Karaka said. "Open the door."

The door was opened and you were dragged inside by the cloaked man. You looked up to see Hell Joe, or you assume he is.

"Long time no see, Hell Hoe." Karaka greeted. "Do the gifts I have been sending you suit your tastes?"

"...Karaka." He jumped down from his pillar. "You've got some nerve showing your face here, Karaka."

"Hmm, hmm hmph hmm hmmm..!" You said.

"What's his problem?" Karaka asked.

"We delivered all of the promised goods to you. Why haven't you given us the thorn fragments?" Karaka asked.

"Cut the crap!! The deal I made with fug was to leave this place!!" Hell Joe said.

"That's not so easy. Not just anyone can just reclaim your soul." Karaka replied.

"Don't be ridiculous!! How much longer do I have to go on trusting what you say!? It's already been ages since I gave you the thorn fragment!!" Joe replied. "Plus that TV... ONLY HAS A FREAKING NEWS CHANNEL!!!"

Everyone was thrown away by his sudden outburst, except you and Karaka, of course.

"Do you have any idea what's it like only watching news all day?! Not even Endorsi Jahad is on TV nowadays!! Did you think I asked you for A TV so that I could stare at old men wearing suits?!" He asked.

"...I only watch the news." Karaka replied.

"SHUT UP!! YOU OLD FART!! DON'T FORCE YOUR TASTE ON ME!! Anyways, there's no deal unless you get me out of here right now!!" He yelled.

"...I guess I have no choice." Karaka said. "Bring me the intruders who disappeared and the person you just imprisoned, then everything will be resolved..

"What?! Do you have a bullet stuck in your ears!?" He asked.

"You're the one who doesn't seem to understand. One of them is capable of getting you out of here. Idiot." Karaka said.

You were tied up and sitting on the bed, duct tape was still on your mouth. Rachel got out of the bag with white.

"That suitcase. It was so uncomfortable being stuck there for so long." Rachel complained.

"Sorry, Rachel. We were passing through a dangerous spot so I had to let you out a bit late." Yura said.

"It's alright." Rachel replied.

You were suddenly blindfolded. You sighed before letting your thoughts fill your mind. You were hearing a very familiar voice. It was as if Wangnan was here.

You could hear Wangnan's voice calling Rachel a psycho and insane while Rachel agreed with him saying that she's a bad person. You were confused.

Is Wangnan here or am I just hearing things?

You coukd hear someone entering. You felt someone untie you and pull the duct tape off of your mouth. Soon, your blindfold was taken. Your eyes widened as you saw her.

"Mom..." You mumbled as you stared at the woman.

She had a rope around her neck that was being held by Karaka. She was looking at me with confusion.

"(Y/n)..?" She asked.

"Mom!" You yelled happily before running towards her and hugging her.
You suddenly felt a large impact on your cheek, making you fall to the ground. She was looking at you full of disgust.

So... Aren't you glad you finally reunited with your mother? And she greeted you with a nice old slap on the cheek!

Anyways, It's 1:40AM and I should be sleeping but I still don't want to...! What should I do???? Last time I stayed up late, I got headaches...
