Blair Lexington. Daughter of David Lexington and Victoria Lexington, and 2nd in line to the English throne. They live a lavish life of wealth, power, and reputation, but they have a dangerous secret.

Their family is a long line of witches and wizards. Discovered at age 7, Blair realized she was also just like her parents, a witch.

Blair's mother, Victoria, had a sister who was also a witch, but was kept in extreme secrecy due to her status. She died a mysterious death, only known to her mother and father that she actually passed of murder by a Death Eater. To the rest, a freak private plane accident.

Blair's 11th birthday arrives.

Blair's POV :

I sat at the large dining table with a wonderful breakfast prepared by the kitchen staff, special for my birthday. I spent my morning ripping paper off of gift boxes sent by family and friends, and some distant relatives as well.

My hands smoothed over a jewelry box, which I carefully opened, making sure not to ruin the maroon, velvet, fabric box. Opening it, I took a small gasp as I saw a beautiful necklace, adorned with pearls and small diamonds, with my family crest engraved in the clasp of the necklace.

"Do you like it darling?" My mother asked calmly.

"I love it. It's absolutely perfect." I calmly said, gracing my eyes over the necklace, and looking back to her.

She moved towards me and carefully closed the clasp once the necklace was placed around my neck. I touched the pearls and looked in the mirror at myself.

I was getting older everyday. My dark soft curls laid on my shoulders, and my blue eyes looked at my mother's same icy ones through the mirror.

Suddenly, before we could say anything else, the dining room door opened, and a guard walked in with a single letter, adorned with a red wax seal.

"For Miss Blair" The guard spoke.

I stood from my seat and thankfully took the letter from the guard. Sitting back down, I took a closer look at the letter, seeing it was addressed to the Lexington Manor, in my name. 'Weird, I never receive post directly to me.' I thought to myself.

I looked at my mother, but oddly enough, she seemed to know what my letter entailed.

I peeled off the wax seal and opened the parchment. It had an old look to it, but still classy, with its careful calligraphy. It read:

Blair Lexington,

We are pleased to inform you that you have been accepted at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. Please find enclosed a list of all necessary books and equipment. Term begins on 1 September. We await your owl by no later than 31 July.

Albus Dumbledore, Headmaster

My piercing blue eyes scanned the paper and widened as then went down the page. "Witchcraft and wizardry? I finally get to go?" I asked my mom with a faltering voice.

I smiled wide eyed at her. She just nodded her head and smiled at me. I immediately broke into a grin and jumped into her arms, which she whispered to me,

"I'm so proud of you Blair."

I started rambling about how excited I was to go to school like my parents had, and everything I was going to do while I was there, but I quickly regained my self and promised to uphold the royal Lexington name. I would be the brightest and most reputable witch in my year. No matter the cost. Then again, I remembered. So far, no one of the Wizarding World knew I was a witch, so this would be an interesting story to see in The Daily Prophet for the next month, or how ever long it took people to calm down about it.
