"KIM SEOKJIN!" Mimi screamed out, her voice echoing out into the night.
She roared with such a monsterous ferocity that Jin had suddenly appeared. As soon as she had caught sight of him, a new wave of fury washed over her and she charged at him. It took him awhile for his eyesight to get adjusted to the darkness, but when it did, Mimi seemed to be enveloped in a cocoon of fire. He didn't have time to run away from her, because the little demon had tugged him from his shirt and hauled him back to his tent.
"I want some answers and I want them right now" She murderously growled at him as she threw him inside.
"How are you so strong!" Jin shrieked at her, dodging a pillow that she threw at him.
He went on top of her to calm her down, her wrists were pinned down by his huge hands. Her teeth were bared and her eyebrows were furrowed. After she had somewhat calmed down, Jin could appreciate how the situation looked. It was actually very funny, considering that she was five three and he was five nine. To him, she just looked like a baby lion trying to catch something. To her, Jin was her next kill.
"Answers, and I want them now" she ordered him.
"I'm going to play dumb and-"
"Is that going to be hard?" She sassily asked Jin.
"Fine! You went through the briefcase didn't you!" He automatically accused.
"And what if I did?" She snapped back.
"You said you wanted answers didn't you? I'll give them to you as soon as you calm down" he persuaded.
Mimi relaxed a little bit, but the fire inside of her did not die out. Jin cautiously got up from her and watched her sit herself across from him. Her gaze was like stone, and Jin had trouble keeping eye contact with her. She then pursed her lips and let out a great big yawn. Mimi was finally tired and it was four in the morning Jin threw a pillow at her, and she retaliated back with more force.
"Yah, you said you wanted answers, shut up and close your eyes now" He ordered her.
"Why, closing my eyes isn't part of what I want to know," she told him.
"Listen, do as I say and then I'll tell you your answers" He spoke to her in a calmer tone, as he went to reach for something that was behind him. She kept her eyes closed but couldn't help but peek a little bit, and when she did, Mimi saw Jin smack her behind her head with a large heavy dictionary. The last thing she heard was Jin quietly apologizing to her and then she blacked out.

6:00 AM
Cancun, Mexico
Mimi had the strangest dream about homeless people taking her on an airplane and suddenly dropping her off in the middle of the ocean. Her phone alarm rang out and infiltrated her dream, and she woke up in a cold sweat. She was panting heavily and she was shaking, when she noticed Jin was sleeping peacefully by her side. Her anger sparked up again as she saw his face again. Mimi grabbed a bucket of icy water and poured it on his precious face. Once again, Jin screamed himself awake.
"Good morning sleeping beauty, would you care to explain as to why you HIT ME WITH A DICTIONARY?" She boldly screamed at him, her alarm ringing again.
Before Jin could even answer her question, she told him nevermind and walked out of the tent in an impatient manner. He raised an eyebrow and followed her out.
Mimi raced to her tent and placed cat food on Tigers bowl and some water in the other, and decided that it was time to get ready for school. Jin was watching from the entrance, but Mimi caught him staring and she covered the entrance so she could change into her uniform. After she had changed, she did her hair in a quick braid, grabbed her bag and almost ran over Jin. Her brother followed her out of the tent area and into a brick road that led to the Town square and from there she walked to her school. Jin noticed the subtle differences in her school uniform. Compared to theirs, Mimi's skirt was a little above the knee and she had to wear black shoes with the option of a blazer.
"I thought we didn't go to school" Jin suddenly spoke, walking closely by her side.
"'we'?" She asked him.
"Oui, you speak French now?" He joked, earning a look from her that told him to shut up.
He cleared his throat and answered her question.
"I mean gypsies. I read on the internet that the illiteracy rate was high"
"Well some of us do go to school like Orion and I" she answered hastily.
Everything became quiet again and Mimi picked up her pace so she could lose Jin. But he was taller and had longer legs, so he was able to keep up with her frantic little pace. She sighed in defeat, and let him walk next to her.
"What are you doing here anyways?" She asked him.
"Walking you to school, what does it look like I'm doing" Jin answered her sarcastically.
Mimi stopped walking and thought of something witty to say but she couldn't think of anything so she just kept quiet.
Jin smiled and shoved his hands in his pockets as they both continued walking. She hunched her shoulders in a protective stance and noticed that she was close to her school. Mimi saw a couple of tenth graders walking in front of the tall looming building. She clicked her tongue as she saw Jin still by her side, his eyes growing wide as he saw the school building. Well, more like a fortress. It wasn't like the schools in the states where some of the private schools looked like medieval castles. No, her school was a modern building with tall windows and shaped in a circular way. It looked like the modern day Colosseum, and he was pretty sure it also had a pool.
"Preparatoria del Efímero. It's a private school" she explained to him.
"You're rich?" He asked her in disbelief. Mimi smacked him with her bag repeatedly calling him a cabrón and a pinche pendejo. She was about to kick him too if she hadn't spotted the principal coming towards her. She stopped and looked at the principal.
"Mimi, everything is paid don't worry about anything-" he cut himself off as he looked at Jin.
"He was asking for directions" she told him distractedly.
The principal walked away after he nodded her head in understanding. After he had left, Mimi looked him in the eye with a pleading look.
"Go back to the tribe. You can't be seen in school with me. My school takes extreme measures when strangers are seen around the school. So unless you want to be in jail for the rest of your life I suggest you leave" she advised him gravely.
He raised an eyebrow and tried to figure out if she was lying or not (she was), but he decided that he didn't want to go to jail. Jin leaned his body for a hug but she pulled away, her eyebrows furrowing in annoyance but her eyes clouded with fear.
"I'll see you later" she curtly told him, walking away without a second look at Jin.
He watched her enter the building safely and decided that a little kid wasn't going to tell him what to do. He pursed his lips and tried to blend in with the mixture of students. Which was difficult, considering his very different appearance from the rest. He hid behind a bush when he saw a faculty member, he was so close to the door now that he slipped in without being noticed.
Mimi walked quickly to her locker after talking to some of her friends, she had forgotten to finish her not so short story and her geography homework, but they had let her borrow the homework. Mimi walked all the way to the first floor to where her locker was, when she got there she realized it was almost empty. That was a good sign, she didn't have to fight a tenth grader to get out of the way. There were around ten people still getting their stuff when she noticed someone abnormally large walking towards her. She squinted to see better and realized it was Jin. She walked casually towards him, confusion all over his face.
"JIN! WHAT- what are you doing here?" She asked him, her patience running thin, yet she was slightly amused that he managed to make it in.
"I thought-" he began, being cut off by Mimi shoving him into a locker. He was quite tall and the lockers we're almost half his size, but Mimi forced him all the way inside. He crouched and tried to drag her in with him, but she was quick and shut the locker.
"Stay there until after first period. I'll come looking for you and then I can take you back" she explained to him, running back to her class and leaving Jin poor and defenseless.
