The bottle of tequila that she was downing burned her throat and stung her eyes with tears. She looked desperately for an answer in that cigar in her left hand, wondering if it was all really worth it. She had lived alone for a while and was accustomed to smelling the sour smell of alcohol and cigars in her house, the heat worsening the smell. She sighed and laid her head on the wall, her eyes streaming with tears as she drank from the bottle again. Images of blood flashed in her eyes as she looked at the framed picture of them. Her hand was holding her wrinkled, but not old, hand. How hard they had worked for her to be in this unfair world where she had been robbed of everything all of a sudden. She remembered the softness of those wheat colored hands, the way they would hold her tight at night even though she was already a young adult. She could remember the engraved patterns of her palm lines, and she liked to pretend she could read her future in them. What did it all matter though, if she was wrong about the future in the end. It's not like she could have predicted what was going to happen.
She bit her bottom lip as she tried not to cry again, and she managed not to, opening a bottle of Casa Noble to drown out what she was feeling right now. The alcohol poured down her throat and put a band-aid on the emotions that were trying to re surface.
How old was she? She tried to recall, but the floor swayed under her and her head was pounding violently.
She saw the scars on her right arm, they were a bright angry red encrusted with scabs. She had tried to continue cutting herself a few minutes ago, but it was useless as she just ended up crying again. She felt stupid and pathetic for crying. What was the point of living if she didn't have anyone to share it with anymore? She threw the bottle and screamed in fury, her tears coming out faster. All of a sudden a flash of orange blurred past her, and the sound of a curtain being opened was heard. She opened her eyes, dust flying in the air and being lit up by the bright sunlight. It took her about five seconds for her eyes to get adjusted to the annoyingly radiant light filtering in her house. Tiger sat like a majestic beast next to the sun, his orange pelt turning into fire in the sun. The warm light caressed her skin and left her mouth slightly agape in wonder. The sun dried her tear stained cheeks and comforted her slowly, feeling the heat wrapping around her body slowly as if it were a hug. She wiped the tears from the corners of her eyes and stared at the blue sky.
What a pretty shade it was.

Is it alright to wear socks with sandals on a hot day like this? Mimi asked herself as she watched a tourist walk around the Plaza Santa Martinez. She watched curiously as a dark haired woman rolled up her socks all the way up to her knees, Mimi's face contorting in disgust as she decided on her answer.
No, it wasn't.
In fact it was completely revolting.
Her concentration broke as one of her accompanists tapped her shoulder in a rapid yet annoying way. Annoyed, she turned and gave him a glare. Mimi was known for being the scariest woman in the tribe, even though she was only seventeen. But, if you got to know her more, she was actually pretty chill.
She had been a gypsy for two years already, and she could not be any happier than she was before. Mimi had a family that had not legally adopted her, but whatever, and she had sixteen brothers and sisters. All of whom she got along with, except the second oldest, Elysium. She was twenty and one of the prettiest girls in the tribe. Elysium was known for having extremely blue eyes and dark skin to match with. Her hair was straight and had the texture of soft blankets. She sure was pretty, but it didn't match her attitude towards her.
