Bakugou POV.

"Hey, do you need help?" Kirishima asks behind me and lowers his chin to rest on my shoulder. I add detergent to the greasy pans that did not fit in the dishwasher. The water turns green and small bubbles start to pop to the surface.

"No," I say briefly and smash the dishes with a dish brush. "The washing machine is already full and I only have to wash this one pan."

"Okay," Kirishima nods and watches my hands slide beneath the surface of the water. I scrape the last dirt off the pan and rinse it.

"And... done," I lift the pan to dry on a kitchen towel and wipe my forehead. I wash my hands and dry them with a towel.

I look around. The kitchen looks and smells clean. Everything is neat and in order. Good. I don't want my parents to start complaining to me about the dirty kitchen.

Kirishima takes a couple of steps back and leans his hands on the wooden table behind him. "What do we do now?" the red-haired boy asks and tilts his head.

I turn my head to the window. The sun has already started to set and it is getting dark outside. "Want to watch a movie?" I ask and turn my head.

"Sure!" Kirishima grins and follows me into the living room.

"You, sit there and I'll see if we have any good movies," I point my finger at our couch and bend over to the cupboard under the telly.
I'm sure father and mother have bought new films, while I've been away. I search and lift the DVD cases one by one next to me. I haven't even asked what kind of movies Kirishima likes. Hmm... action movies? Or does he like romance? What about horror?

"Bakugou," Kirishima says, leaning forward from the couch.

"Hmm?" I ask distractedly as I focus on the movies. A horror movie could be pretty interesting... He could cling to me if he gets too scared. I grin at myself at the thought.

"Let's make a pillow castle!" Kirishima suggests enthusiastically with a grin on his face.

I lift my gaze off the cases and wrinkle my eyebrows. "What?" I ask and rub my ears. Is there something wrong with my hearing?

"A pillow castle," Kirishima repeats.

Huh?

"How old are you?" I ask and turn to face Kirishima.

"It's going to be fun," Kirishima laughs and reaches out."Here, get up."

I look at Kirishima's outstretched hand in disbelief and raise my other eyebrow.

Well... whatever.

I raise my hand to Kirishima's palm and feel the boy pull me up.

"I noticed that there were blankets and pillows for both of us in your room. Let's use them!" Kirishima suggests. "Do you have an extra mattress anywhere? It could be our base!"

I look Kirishima into his bright eyes in disbelief. A castle? Hmm.

Before I have time to argue, Kirishima grabs my hand and pulls me towards my room. Is this normal for sleepovers? Is this what young people do? Strange.

Kirishima takes the blankets and pillows from my bed and drags them to the living room. While Kirishima was busy, I headed for a big closet and took a large mattress with me.

By the time I entered the living room, Kirishima had already arranged the sofa cushions as the castle's supporting structures and the blankets hanging as a roof. I hand Kirishima a mattress, which he neatly places under the blankets. I thought I would be even more helpful and get some sweets from the kitchen.

"Come inside!" Kirishima smiles from the castle and reaches out.

I lift my eyebrows in surprise and grab the boy's warm hand. Kirishima pulls me into the castle amid the fluffy pillows and blankets. I look around in amazement. The castle was gorgeous! I feel Kirishima grin next to me and look at me.

"Isn't this great! And super nice too!" Kirishima smiles proudly and pats the castle's soft mattress floor.

I feel a little squeeze in my hand. Oh... I haven't let go of Kirishima.

...

I clear my throat and drop the sweets while letting go of the red hair's tender grip.

"Want to watch a horror movie?" I ask quickly and crawl to the TV. I don't want him to notice my rose-red cheeks.

Before Kirishima gets even answer, I have already slid a DVD to the machine.

"I didn't know you liked horror movies," Kirishima notes, leaning on his hand.

Well, I don't like them. I just want to see his reaction when he gets scared.

"Mmh," I reply briefly and meander my way back next to Kirishima.

The castle is cramped, so we have to lie down leaning against each other. This is actually quite nice...

...

OK, THIS WAS NOT NICE.

The horror movie was a mistake.

I hadn't seen the movie before, so I could feel every jump scare down my throat.

"Shit!" I scream when a little girl with a torn face jumps on the screen.

My eyes are round, like plates. I can feel cold shivers climbing along my spine. When will this end?!

Kirishima laughs next to me because of my reactions and seems to be perfectly fine.

I click my tongue.

How is he so good with horror movies?

"Hn!" I yell when a new scary thing  appears on the screen. I feel my fingertips twitch a bit.

Ha, lame.

Kirishima glances at me and tilts his head. I feel a tiny squeeze in my right hand.

"Eh!" I am frightened by the surprising touch and glare towards Kirishima. "Stop, idiot," I bark and pull my hand away.

"You seemed scared. This will help," Kirishima smiles gently and takes my hand again.

"Ha, don't fuck with me!" I say irritably, but for some reason, I don't pull my hand away.

"Yeah," Kirishima laughs in an amused voice and messes up my hair.

"Yeah."
