Bakugou POV.

I carelessly pour hot coffee into my mug and stare at the wall in front of me.

I'm so tired.

I had to wrestle with Kirishima so that he would let me go and then I had to get Kirishima's lazy ass up from the bed.

My hair is messed up like a bird's nest and I can imagine the eye bags under my eyes.

I turn to Kirishima. He sits next to me, his hair is down and he looks really healthy and fresh today.

Kirishima smiles happily and talks to my parents about school and stuff. The redhead's eyes are big as always and shine like a lit fire in a campfire.

How can he look that good— I mean high-spirited at such an early time? I feel like a newly awakened zombie...I drop a piece of sugar in my black coffee and mix it aimlessly with a silver spoon.

"Katsuki!" my mother says trying to get my attention.

"Mhm!" I raise my head in surprise. I can't focus on anything right now. I rub my tired eyes, which now change from bluish to red.

"You haven't spoken a word yet. Did you have fun yesterday?" mom asks and lifts her teacup to her lips.

"Mhm, yeah," I answer tiredly and lazily stir my dark coffee.

Kirishima lowers his other hand off the table and slides it along my chair.

What are you doing?

"Thanks for letting me stay here!" Kirishima smiles innocently and moves his hand along my thigh.

Hey-

My eyes widen and I press my lips into a tight line as I feel a gentle squeeze around my thigh.

"Hey," I whisper nervously and grab the boy's firm wrist.

But he does not move or react. Kirishima flashes his beautiful smile and continues the conversation with my parents.

My breathing speeds up and I feel the warm heat rising along my neck. My parents can notice!

I hide my face behind my hand as if I was rubbing my forehead.

Kirishima knows how to be stubborn.

"And the house was so clean when we got home!" my mother praises and offers Kirishima more fruit pieces.

"Well of course it was," I snort and put my hand on the table.

My mom just laughs and nods.

——

We went back to our dorm rooms with Kirishima the same day and the rest of the weekend went by fast.

It's now morning and a new school week begins.

I'm, once again, the first one in class and sit on the hard wooden bench, looking out the window. The events of the weekend flood to my mind.

I clear my throat and rub my neck.

A lot of things happened in such a short time. It felt like a dream, far from reality. I was so embarrassed! I was not myself.

That woman's quirk shows no signs of fading out, which makes my blood boil.

If only I could get her in my hands-

My thoughts shut off when I hear a familiar voice from outside the class.

Kirishima...

I stare at the sliding door without blinking my eyes and listen carefully.

"No worries, I can show you again some other time!" Kirishima says in a cheerful voice.
