Chapter: 3

Maya's POV
I woke up and went downstairs. I got a bowl out of the cabinet and made myself some cereal. I sat down and started eating while I was on my phone.
"Moring Hart" lucas said sitting next to me
"Morning" I said simply
"What do u want to do today" he asked
"I dunno, go down to the beach?" I said
"Yea sounds cool" he said
We talked for a few more minutes then the door bell rang. Who's that?
"I'll get it" I said I got up and Lucas followed
I opened the door and Joshua (riley and Lucas's uncle) was standing there.
"Hey hottie" he said to me I blushed
"Um hey joshua what RU doing here?" I asked
"Well my bro told me u guys were staying here for the summer, so I thought I'd stay for a while" he said coming into the house
"Oh cool" I said. I looked over to Lucas who looked a little upset.
"Hey it's lucas!" Joshua said and they bro hugged
"Hey man "lucas said with almost no emotion
"So where's riles and Farkle" Joshua asked
"They aren't up yet" I said
"Oh so u to are the only to up" he said
"Yep, just me and maya" lucas said smirking at Joshua. What's going on right now?
"So where should I put my stuff" Joshua said
"You'll sleep on the couch. We don't have an extra bedroom" Lucas said harshly.
I nudged his arm and have him a look.
"No u don't have to sleep on the couch josh u can-" I was cut off by lucas
"Since when do call Joshua Josh?" Lucas asked looking at me
"Since right now. Is that a problem lucas?" I asked
"Yea it is" he said looking away
"Ugh. Ur so annoying" I mumbled
"What?" He asked
"Nothing. Josh, u can...share a room with someone" I suggested
"Cool. I'll stay with u then Maya" he said winking at me. I blushed
"No! I mean....uh that's not a good idea" lucas said
"Why not"joshua asked
"Because" Lucas said looking down
"Ohhhhh. Is somebody JEALOUS?" I asked in a mocking tone giggling a little
"No" he said still not looking at me
"Really? Ok sure whatever Lucas" I said looking back to Joshua
" Sure Josh u can stay with me, but don't get ANY Ideas" I said
"Hey no promises" he said smirking
"Ugh. Could u guys stop flirting it's making me sick" Lucas said

Lucas's POV
I REALLY like maya. I just don't know if she feels the same way. But I'm not gonna give up. Joshua's here tough, and he's staying in Maya's room, WITH MAYA! I'm so angry. I don't know what to do.
"Hey Farkle. Wake up dude" I said throwing pillows at him
"Hey hey hey I'm up. What's up" he said rubbing his eyes
"Maya" I said
"I knew I like her"he said
"Ok ok I know but Joshua's here" I said
"Wait like ur uncle joshua? Like the one that likes Maya and they flirt like 24/7 every time he visits?" he asked shocked now sitting up on his bed
"Yea yea yea him. and he and Maya are sharing a room, and I don't want her to like him, and I dont Want him to like her and they can't like eachother because I like Maya and they WONT be together!" I yelled real fast
"Ok ok man calm down." he said
"What am I supposed to do, ICANT lose her again" I said putting my head in my hands
"Dude u won't lose her again. Ok. Ocme on lets go downstairs and eat. You'll feel better when u eat" he said calming me down
"Yea ur right. I mean what could happen right?" I said and we went downstairs
