I yawn, open my eyes, and am immediately greeted by bright sunlight. To my left: Ocean. To my right: Forest. Directly in front of me: Sand. Lots of it. So...? On my left wrist is a weird diamond shaped... implant? It's a little unnerving that this thing is stuck in my arm, but I can't seem to get it off. It only hurts when I scratch at it. The real question is... How did I get here? Where even is here? How am I supposed to get home? Or even worse, will I ever get home? My heart races at these thoughts as I panic for a moment. No. There must be a way out of this place. I get up and start to wander around. Soon, I see a strange object waddling across the sand. What is that? I cautiously approach the thing. It looks to be alive, and as I get closer I realize that it's a... Dodo? Huh? I thought they were extinct! Where am I, some kind of world where extinct creatures go? I sigh and shake my head. This is ridiculous. I'm probably dreaming or something. Maybe I should just keep walking. If this is a dream, then I will know soon enough.
