Sadie was kind of adorable.
I would never say those words out loud of course. But as her forehead rested against the keyboard, hitting the letter "g" for eternity, I fought the urge to giggle like a little girl. I could hear the gentle sound of her snoring. I hadn't pegged her as the snoring type, but I guess she was.
I walked over quietly to her desk, saving and closing out of the document before she created an infinite number of pages. I laughed to myself, noticing that a little bit of drool had fallen out of the corner of her mouth onto the desk below. Faint goosebumps dotted her pale arms.
I looked around the cubicle, making sure that nobody was near us. When I was certain we were alone, I carefully took my discarded blazer off of my desk and draped it around Sadie's shoulders. I smiled, a small secret smile that nobody else could see.
I left the building feeling warm despite the cold.
