Linel stretched up her arms as she groans out of relief.
"Almost done!"
She finished making letters just now it seems. The only thing left in her table is another letter from that mysterious sender from Grace Field House. She opens the envelope with her beloved pocked knife and reads the letter."To the sender,
Just you making the letters? Even tho I can't confirm if it's a lie, that must have been a lot. Even this letter is probably one of them.
I didn't expect you'll respond to that message, to be honest. Nor how mom was able to find the letter to send it to you since I've decided not to send it... And well, you understand that I don't trust you since I have no idea what or who you are. May this be our last letter to each other for that purpose. Who knows if you'll report this to your superiors.
Some "orphan" from Grace Field House"
She pouts as she finish the letter.
To be honest, the thought of reporting about the letter in the first place didn't matter since: it's not like she doesn't report any problems about some of the letters but at the current time, most of her superiors such as the Ratri and the demons are not in the facility and she doesn't have the time to report it through tech-communications; and she's actually lazy to do so besides, it's late at night, as she always finish her job at that time, most of them might had already gotten to sleep.
She brought out another clean sheet of paper and started to write a response:
"Little miss/sir,
I've never planned of doing such a thing! Honestly, I don't even have to give a thought of you trusting me since you're also a stranger to me. But I don't want to leave it just like that after that letter of yours was already sent and read.
Have you considered me telling this to my superiors after you cut off contact? Besides, it might harm your whole family and your plans will get find out. It's a good blackmail for me, right~?And.....
By the way, if your still suspicious of me being a demon, you don't have to worry. I'm just a meek little human who's just doing their job to survive, just like you finding a way to escape. I can sympathize with you if you want to.
And also, let's drop the formality next time.
Miss L"
Folding up the paper, she enclosed it in an envelope, and dug through the pile of letters to the Grace Field House to hide it.
"I'm looking forward to your answer," she mutters as she smiled.
