* February 2017 *

Oh my dollar Valentine. For just a buck, you get the name and number of your one true soul mate. For five bucks, you get your top five.

The whole cheer-team was sitting inside the gym, cutting out red paper hearts and designing posters.
"Sheri, I am so sorry but those paper hearts look like butts," Jess said, and we laughed.

I was wearing my liberty high jacket, a heart bopper on my head. "So, who are guys planning to get?" I asked. Some girls gave a name, while others just speculated. "And Bri, who are you hoping for?" A girl on the team asked me.

"Hmm... not sure. I'll see what I can get. Hopefully someone who's on the team." I grinned. Sheri replied," Well, I think I know." She gave me a wink.

After we were done some girls filled out the two part survey, hoping to get some interesting matches.

* a few days later *

Me and Sheri were sitting in the school cafeteria, alongside others from our team, putting in the surveys into our laptops for everyone who was awaiting their match.

After a little while, Hannah Baker walked in and Sheri chimed up," Hannah Baker, Hey! Did you fill out the survey?"

They proceeded to talk and they printed out the results. I was attending to some other people in the meantime.

"Hey Bri, I'm gonna catch a break with Hannah, did you already get your results?" my best friend asked me.

"Alright! Not yet, I will finish up some people and then I'll see!"

About 15 minutes later, I couldn't wait much longer and put my survey into the laptop, printing my results.

The paper read:

RESULTS FOR

Brianna E.

Oh My Dollar Valentine
🤍🤍🤍🤍

Most compatible boys:

1. Scott R.

2. Montgomery C.

3. Charles F.

4. Patrick G.

5. Zach D.

Scanning the paper, I quickly whipped out my phone to text my best friend.
