"Absolutely not. You cannot think that I will give you not only my daughter but my pack as well." My father stated.

We were in the middle of the meeting that was originally suppose to be between Damon and myself, but now that we needed to discuss possibly joining the packs, and my father being parinoid that Damon and I are gonna mate at any minute, we are now having the meeting with my father and Trevor as well. This morning, I decided to tell Trevor that I've decided to move into Damon's pack. He didn't take it too well. Actually, he didn't even accept the idea at all, he kinda just walked away. Anway, I understand that he's really upset that I've chosen this, but he cant be too mad at me. I was obviously gonna pick my true mate. I hope he realized that.

Currently, my father and Damon are arguing over joining the packs or not. Damon and my father have already discussed me moving in with Damon and although he does not like it, my father agreed to let me go with him. But, now that Damon is suggesting to combine the packs for safety in numbers and protection of the women and children, and stressing me to a point of annoyance, my father wont budge. He says that Damon is just trying to steal everything from us.

Last night, I was a little skeptically myself about Damon's plan. But, after talking it over with Damon, I realized that this is the best thing for both packs. Another reason why I didn't want to be Luna is because I would be seperated from my family and friends. Those two things mean so much to me and I couldn't have that taken away from me. Also, although we know for a fact that a group of rogues trying to be a pack is after me, doesn't mean they're alone in this. And Damon has connections that can help us. Connections that aren't just werewolves.

"Father, please. I really think its a good idea to combine the packs." I told him.

"Why? What would happen to Henry and Trevor, they were suppose to be Beta and Delta. And I bet they wouldn't get the positions if we were to combine packs." my father said.

"I'll make you a deal. If our packs combine, Henry will be Delta. My current Delta only had a daughter and is getting pretty old. Your wife, you, and Henry can all stay in the pack house, of course Marlee would be there too. In our room." I blush at that comment while my father just growls.

"And Trevor, what about him?" My father asked.

"You really think I'm gonna make him Beta over my best friend whose been my beta for two years now. Plus, he's trying to steal my mate. No way is he becoming Beta." Damon said.

"Then make him Delta instead of Henry." my father suggested.

Damon shook his head. "No. He will not hold a title. Betas and Deltas are suppose to be highly trusted by the Alpha, and I don't trust Trevor at all. Look, this is all for your daughter's safety. If we combine the packs, we have the strength in numbers to have more boarder patrols and two locations. The rogues wouldn't know where she would be if there are two territories for our pack." my mate said.

"You do have a point." my father said contemplating everything that had just been said.

"So? What do you say dad?" I asked him.

My dad stays quiet. I start feeling really nervous for his decision. Sparks ignite in my hand as I feel Damon's hand intertwine in mine. My head turns in his direction and our eyes make contact. He mouths to me 'don't worry' and gives me a warm smile. I smile back before turning my attention back to my father.

"We'll have the ceremony here if that's okay with you. Can your pack get here in two days?" My father asked.

Damon nodded his head. I sighed with relief. Things went well overall. I'm still scared to death about possibly being kidnapped. But, I know that Damon will protect me. I head upstairs to my room and jump on the bed. I grab my tv remote and press the power button. Damon soon enters a few minutes later and lies down next to me. My focus doesn's break from the tv. I could tell that Damon was trying to get my attention, however.
