I woke up feeling like crap. I had a dream. It was terrible. It was Ryder. Was he out to kill me? He was.
“Madi! It’s Christmas Eve!” Max yelled jumping on my bed, waking me up.
“Ok. Ok. I know.” I said trying to make him get off my bed
“Maybe we’ll get to see snow?” He said.
“I don’t think so.” I half smiled.
“Cheer up. Oh and dad wants to see you. We’re going to a Christmas party later” He said getting out of my bed walking out of the room.
“Okay then.” I whispered getting out of bed.
I wonder what Mitch is doing. I looked out the window to see him playing minecraft. He always plays that game. He is probably recording with Jerome, or someone else.
I walked downstairs to see Max playing a game on the wii, and dad making breakfast in the Kitchen. I walked into the Kitchen
“Hey dad.” I smiled.
“Hey sweetheart.” he said.
“Mmm… smells good.” I said smelling the fragrance of apple cinnamon flapjacks.
“Yep, So, we’re going to the Hughes, Christmas party later.” He smiled flipping the pancakes
“Hughes? As in Mr. and Mrs. Hughes?” I asked
“Yeah. Mitch? He invited us.” He smiled
“Oh” I looked down
“Well, breakfast is done!” He yelled
“Yay breakfast!” Max yelled running into the room
Dad placed the pancakes onto the table.
“So. What do you guys want for christmas?” Dad asked
“I want a new video game. How about you Madi?” Max asked shoving pancakes into his mouth
“Uh. I don’t know” I said eating my pancakes.
“Well. Hurry up and get ready. I told Katherine(Idk Mitch’s mum’s name. So..) We’d be there about 11:30am.” He smiled
I looked at the clock. 11:00am. I finished my food, and walked upstairs to my bathroom.
(Yeh, she has her own bathroom. Don’t judge) I decided to wear something Christmasy(Yes, she has a dresser in her bathroom. I do too.) I grabbed my black skinny jeans, my ‘this is my ugly Christmas sweater’ sweater, and my american flag scarf(Outfit on side) I curled my long dark red hair and added, my Bow headband. I applied a little makeup. I grabbed my phone, and walked downstairs.
“I’m ready.” I smiled
“Me too!” Max said coming behind me
My dad smiled “I have someone you guys need to meet”
“Who?” Max asked
“Mary!” My dad shouted cheerfully.
A female, my dad’s age a little shorter than my dad walked it.
My dad grabbed her hand, and they intertwined fingers
“Who is she?” I asked
“She’s my girlfriend.” Dad smiled looking up at her.
“How long have you two been dating?” Max winked playfully.
“About 4 months” Mary smiled.
“What?” I asked putting my red uggs on.
“You heard me Madilynn” Dad whispered.
“Whatever.” I said opening the door then slamming it shut.
I walked over to Mitch’s house and knocked on the door
“Hey Madi!” Mrs Hughes smiled opening the door
“Hello Mrs Hughes” I smiled giving her a hug
She hugged back and let me in. “Mitch is upstairs.” She smiled
“Oh yeah. My dad is on his way over.” I said walking up the stairs.
I walked upstairs and looked for Mitch’s room. I finally reached a door with a sign on it saying ‘The awesomeness pvper evah’ I laughed and knocked on the door.
“It’s open!” He yelled.
It’s now or never Madi.
“Hey.” I said walking into the room
“Madi? What are you doing here?” He asked
“Mitch. I’m sorry.” I said.
“Madi. It’s fine” He smiled
“No. It’s not Mitch. I thought I loved Ryder. I was wrong.” I sighed.
“Madi. It’s fine” He said. But, I ignored him
“I don’t know who I am anymore, To be honest. I haven’t been myself in a really long time. Ryder is tearing me apart. I haven’t been loved in a long ti-” I got cut off.
(Mitch’s P.O.V)
“I love you Madi, and I’ve always have.” I whispered.
“Why is my life so complicated?” She cried
“Is this complicated?” I asked placing a kiss on my lips.
“W-why did y-you kiss m-me?” She stuttered.
“I want you're problems, to be my problems too.” I smiled wiping her tears away.
I kissed her again. “Stay with me.” I whispered
“I will.” She smiled kissing him back.
