we will have to live through the time,
and be forgotten
you and i...✧
high school and college were long gone for the then teenagers. life started, and memories of the past soon faded.
goeun smiled for the camera, finally releasing her contained laughter after hearing the click. "ah, seriously, you don't age."
the girl laughed, playfully smacking her husband on the arm as they looked through the photos together. "shut up! you still look like you're a teenager..."
jaemin tipped his head back as he cackled, the sound making goeun giggle as well.
a gentle tug on her dress caught the girl's attention, and she brought her loving gaze down to the squealing figure being scooped up by jaemin. goeun continued giggling as jaemin attacked their daughter with kisses.
"mama!" the girl shrieked through her boisterous laughter.
holding the girl under his arm like a sack, jaemin turned back towards his wife with a wide grin. "should we get some waters?" goeun nodded and knelt down, tilting her body to the side to properly face their daughter.
"sound good, mieun?"
"coffee!" the little girl yelled, and goeun playfully frowned while jaemin smiled proudly. "she's definitely your daughter."
before the boy could come up with a retaliation, goeun was already running towards the convenience store across the street.
after entering, she quickly grabbed three water bottles, struggling to securely hold the third. while she was focused on fixing the bottle, goeun suddenly bumped into someone and dropped all three of them.
the person instantly knelt down with to help her pick up the mess. "oh, i'm really sorry!"
goeun's hand stopped as she grabbed the second water bottle.
that voice...
"u-uh, it's fine," she mumbled, trying to convince herself that she was hearing things. she felt like she was in a movie. however, when he heard her response, the boy froze.
they both stood up, unable to make eye contact. then the boy spoke.
"i-i'm park jisung-"
"i know..." goeun couldn't stop the small smile from pulling at her lips. it's like when we met...
"i'm chae goeun." the boy let out a light chuckle, rubbing his nape and finally looking at her. "i know."
goeun unconsciously smiled at her feet, the good memories of their young, kiddish relationship coming back to her.
she looked up at him with sad, sparkling eyes.
"don't run away from me this time, please."
END
EXPLANATION :: to clear up any confusion (sorry), jisung and goeun fell in love and had a somewhat forbidden relationship because it was unheard of that populars hung out with loners. they dated for a while despite knowing it wouldn't end well. they broke up after a while and jisung felt terrible, understandably, and they didn't get back together. in college, goeun met and started a relationship with jaemin, and they later got married and had a daughter. the three were at a park when goeun went to get water and ran into jisung for the first time in years. when she says "don't run away from me this time" she doesn't mean it in a romantic way, just that she wants to catch up on life and doesn't want him leaving like he did when they were young. hopefully that clears everything up! feel free to ask questions if i missed anything or need to clarify~
