The screams went on and on. I panicked. I didn't know what to do. I left the room, until the screaming finally stopped. As I approached the room again, there was muffled sobbing on the other side of the door. I slowly opened it and peeked inside. Lust was standing at the other side of the room, staring at himself in the mirror while crying. "What happened to me?" he whispered, turning his head to look at me. "I'm so sorry. I wanted to keep you alive. This was the only way." I replied, looking down at the floor.
His body had changed from the virus and he somehow grew two extra arms, which needed help to develop otherwise they'd need to be removed. His once bright white bones were now a grey-ish color while some parts were red and stained with blood. He started walking toward me which made me back up, and he went still. He suddenly growls and runs at me, but I stay, knowing I have nothing else to lose. He tackles me to the ground, hugging me tightly while staring at me. I gently rub his back. His beautiful heart eyes were now dull yellow pupils. "What happened?" He asked. "You got in an accident. The only way to save you was by giving you the mutation virus so it could heal your body faster." He nods, still hugging me. "Will things ever be able to go to normal?" He asks quietly. I stay silent, unable to answer. It's possible he could die or maybe I or both of us would die. Maybe he'll heal and be okay.

As time went on, I noticed he became less and less himself. His body started changing as well. His eye sockets grew wider and it became normal for them to leak some sort of gold colored substance. His hands became shaky and his extra limbs would move around on their own, twitching and randomly fidgeting with stuff. Sometimes he'd have panic attacks, maybe triggered by his thoughts. I even had to tie him down to stop him from hurting himself. Thankfully, he can still eat, but he doesn't get much sleep.
In the morning, I woke up and he was gone. I got up and went downstairs only to find him in the kitchen making breakfast. He seemed calm and his other two arms were relaxed at his sides. He looked over at me with a smile. His eyes were still wide and yellow, but he seemed normal. "Good morning sweetheart. Breakfast is almost done." He said quietly, turning his head back toward the food. I nodded and walked over to the table, sitting down and resting my head in my hands.
"Blue, sweetheart, wake up." I heart Lust call out. I opened my eyes as I looked up at him. His eyes had gone back to normal, same with his bones, and the extra limbs were gone. "I'm back." He says, smiling at me. I smile and stand up to hug him tight. Finally, things might be going back to normal.
We hug each other for a few silent moments until he pulls back and grabs my hand, taking me outside. "Where are we going?" I ask. " Our favorite place." He says as he takes me over to a beautiful field of flowers. Something was off. The place was more lively than usual. There were people walking around and the buildings looked less abandoned and run-down. I looked back at lust and he was gone.
I felt four warm arms wrap around me from behind. I look down and see Lust's arms wrapped around me. Then I noticed I was standing at the edge of a cliff. I lean back a little and turn around to see Lust, the same as always. The gold substance was dripping down his cheeks along with normal tears. "I almost lost you..." He whispers, still hugging me. I hug him tight and walk forward to get away from the cliff. "How did we get here?" I ask with my cheek pressed against his chest, feeling comfort. "You were sleepwalking. I didn't notice until you were already out the door, and I finally found you walking here." I nod and rub his back. "Let's go home."

Once we got home, we ate breakfast and went back to bed. He asks me what could've caused me to go to the cliff, but I don't tell him, not wanting to give him another reason to feel down. I don't want to put more bad thoughts into his head. So instead, i shrug and cuddle him until we fall asleep. His arms were tightly wrapped around me, probably to make sure what happened earlier doesn't happen again.

The next day, I manage to tell lust about my dream over breakfast. His only response was a sigh and nod. He tells me he loves me, and then he stops talking. I try to get close to him but all he does is look at me with a sad smile and move away. "Lust please, what's wrong? If it's about the dream, it was just a bad dream. It has nothing to do with anything else. I could never hate you or be afraid of you. I love you." Lust glances at me and hugs himself with both sets of arms before going to the bedroom. I sigh and stay at the table, beginning to cry.
