You were a tailor, it wasn't rare you'd get to work on a wedding dress. Your mother was a tailor before you and trained you in her ways. She was the greatest tailor around town and she taught you everything she knows. She taught you to identify body types within a blink and to know which dress types would suit them, how to cleanly sew clothing, etc. Like your mother, you were as skilled as she is, perhaps greater.
The pristine mannequin sat in front of you, bare and empty as you scanned through your old dress sketches. The old tailor's block was back at it again with its shenanigan to mess with you. And you thought you'd know what you'd want in terms of making your very own wedding dress, but here you were, boarding the indecisive train of thoughts.
"Ugh, this is just a prototype after all. I shouldn't take it too seriously." You sighed, closing the book with a loud smack. You turned to the mannequin once more, before taking the neatly folded pile of fabrics by the floor and worked on your wedding dress.
You have been making wedding dresses for every one who decided to get married and by the gods it was sure magical as they say. You never believed this day would come, but here it is, you were designing and making your own wedding dress. You can still feel the chills running through your body with the thought of marriage in mind. Marriage... A reward for a relationship that lasted long enough to be sure you'd be together forever, because he was smart to know he'd love to spend the rest of his living days with you... The thought of it made your stomach churn pleasantly.
You kept in mind that these actions will bind you to him for the rest of your lives and you were happy for that! There's no turning back in marriage, you will gladly face every challenges life will offer. You knew Joseph, he is quite the stupid fool who comes up with the most elaborate plans and reckless decisions and honestly... You're here for it.
As you were about to pin the complicated pattern by the white mannequin, the colossal idiot bound your arms close your body as he wrapped his arms around your figure from behind. You immediately knew who it was, as no one as foolish as him would attempt to embrace you while you were busy and armed with sharp objects. "Joseph, quit it before I shove these pins in your eye—"
"Oh please, don't. I won't be able to marvel at the sight of your beauty." The dark haired male cheekily shoots back, chin atop your shoulder as his muscular arms snaked around your body, retraining your ability to freely move around to tend to your dress.
You narrowed your eyes at the big buffoon whilst he only grinned back at you. The man was just wrapped in bandages from head to toe a few weeks ago from his previous battles and was in the middle of recovery. Despite being out of the bandages, he was still healing. If he weren't in that certain state, you would've taken a rock and crush him under it. Repeatedly.
"Oh if I weren't kind, you would've taken my elbow by your ribcage by now." You carefully maneuver your arms to set yourself free from his iron grip and successfully broke free from him.
"Hmmp, you're no fun," he crosses his arm to his chest, childishly turning away with a pout.
"Out, Joestar, I want to work on this thing in my own. Now skedaddle." You waved your hand at his direction, as you busily tended to the dress.
"Whose dress is that anyways?" Joseph asks, sitting by one of the small stool you kept around your room, as he watched you pinning silk fabrics on the mannequin. You didn't replied and simply occupied yourself on working on the dress.
Joseph Joestar and you have always been friends for as long as you can remember. The dumb fool was a stumbling block head who was oddly clever in a way that charmed his way into you heart. By that, I mean you somehow found it cute how tough he is by handling street thugs with ease while he was a powerless little baby whenever Granny Erina sternly lectured Joseph by hitting him with her parasol.
