Chapter 15-The Demon Lord

(y/n)'s POV

"What?! Impossible!"  I say looking directly at my doppelganger "You can't be me. I'm, well me!" The Demon Lord laughs. "you think that in this world we can't have clones? i'm you that means i know all your weaknesses!" the Demon Lord draws his sword, it's an identical replica of my sword, except its all dark gray, with a black gem where the elemental gems are supposed to be.

"Now, as a nickname to not get confused with (y/n) lets call myself...(your name but backwards ill just say (b/n) which means backwards name for it)"

"Couldn't you come up with a better name?" I ask "like dark (y/n) or demon (y/n) or-"

"Those are common names for a evil doppelganger" (b/n) says "I'm going for a more unique approach."

"Whatever lets get to the fighting" I say readying a stance. "Very well." my doppelganger says as he mirrors my pose. "Lets do this" I say to myself

I start off with a jump-slash, but he does the exact same thing, as I swing,he swings. If i duck, he ducks. Weird I think to myself if he copies what I do then must do what i normally wouldn't do. 

Then it struck me, the perfect idea.

 I flip my sword upside down and hold it like with the blade downward, then charge. Normally i would never do this, but now i have to and i caught him off guard. "Oh i see you got a new strategy (y/n)" (b/n) says "Lets switch things a little." and he activates his gemstone ability. Darkness surrounds his body and he becomes a 10 foot high Goliath with a huge sword. "Oh boy, how do I fight that thing. I only have a few gems to work with."

"Maybe I can use 2 gems at the same time, like a half and half blend of sorts."

I activate both gems and just like that a half green-half red gem pops up. "hmm so what combination should i use...." But before i could decide a just barely managed to dodge the sword that came towards me. I quickly hide behind a nearby pillar. "Come out (y/n)" (b/n) eerily calls out. "come on which spell...ah-ha!" I pick flaming spore bomb, and a come out from behind the pillar.

Without wasting a single moment I yell out "Flaming spore bomb!" and a large flaming sphere shoots out the tip of my sword. It makes direct contact and explodes. Flaming seeds burst out like a grenade and fills the giant with holes.

The shadow giant collapses and leaves the wounded Demon Lord on the floor. "you..won't get away with this." He says gasping for air. "I will return, and destroy you." and he teleports away.

I sigh, then I hear a shattering sound, the chains and sound spell had wore off, and the girls quickly came to me and hugged me. "thank the gods that your ok" Jade says. "Y-yeah thanks (y/n)" Brianna says.  "Guess i'll have to thank you too, so thank you." Amy then says "Lets hurry, before your doppelganger causes more harm."

"Yeah," I say and continue through the door and thrust my sword into the pedestal. "Water element down" I cheer and pull my sword out. "Quickly lets go find the Ocean King. With the Water element and Earth element combined i think i can use the spell Holy Water and cure him." I say. "Then no time to lose," Amy says "quickly back to the boat"

Once we are on the boat we waste no time and quickly search for the Ocean King. I attempt the spell and got it after a few tries. Brianna uses a spell to summon a bottle, and we collected our Holy Water.

"Look, over there!" Jade says while pointing north-east. "I think thats the Ocean King." Indeed it was, however it saw us first, and was now charging towards us. I could now see it better, it was a shark, the size of about 2 school buses, with teeth as big as a #2 pencil! 

"Prepare for impact girls!" I yell right before the shark crashes into us.
