(y/n)'s POV
As we gain altitude I can't help but wonder Why am I the chosen one? Out of everyone? As I'm thinking Jade, Amy, and Brianna come to me. "Oh hi girls" I say. However instead of saying hello or hi back, Amy says "We used the book to navigate, we are landing soon, the Temple is near." With that i quickly return to main cabin and equip myself with the sword, shield, and pendant I found in the village.
As the Leviathan lands in front of the Earth Temple I can't help but be nervous. after all this has to be a difficult dungeon right? Then the 4 of us enter the Temple and prepare for battle.
Except there are no enemies inside. Weird i thought then maybe there are puzzles or riddles that make up this dungeon. I continue down the path with the girls behind me. Then i see something, It looks like a combination code that i have to strike with my sword in order to unlock. I call out to the girls saying to look for something that might be a clue to the combination. Brianna finds something, a script engraved in stone but she can't make out the words, but as i get a closer look, I can read it perfectly fine.
"It says swing your sword in the following order, down,up,left,right."
"You can read the text?" Brianna asks, dumbfounded.
"Yea i kinda just knew what it says." I respond "but the riddle says down, up which means i swing my sword down, hitting the top part of the combination, so the true combination is up,down,left,right."
I do the combination and the lock spins and falls to the ground allowing me to lift up the stone door and for us to pass.
(Timeskip to the guardian of the element bc i lazy)
We get ready to face the guardian and as we go to face it, we are met with a dragon with a gem on its forehead, must have been like 20 feet high. "How the hell are we supposed to beat this thing?" I ask "Brianna,the know-it-all, says "Look at the head, see the gem? Drive your sword into it and its done for." I nod "Now we just need a way to get up th-" I'm cut off, and the dragon awakens, roaring, and preparing an attack.
Nobody's POV
(y/n) starts looking for a way to get up and the girls attempt to distract it, but to no avail, there swatted away like flies with it's tail. The dragon starts shooting balls of fire towards (y/n) trying to burn him to a crisp, but (y/n) keeps dodging, then an idea comes into his head.
"Brianna, do you have a spell that allows people to levitate?"
"I do, but in order for it to work you must trust the magic because the bridge is invisible."
"Ok then, cast it!"
Brianna mutters a few words and her halberd starts glowing. Suddenly as (y/n) jumps to avoid another fireball, he doesn't hit the ground, he's on the invisible bridge. "Time to end this!" (y/n) jumps and drives the sword into the dragon's skull. It lets out a screech before collapsing to the floor, lifeless. (y/n) pulls the sword out, and go through the door it was guarding for millennia.
They are met with a spring,full of life and sacred water, in the center is a pedestal, supposedly for the sword, and (y/n) drives it into the pedestal. Suddenly a bright flash followed by a large BOOM. Then the sword has changed, still in the pedestal only that its now a bit longer with the gem in the center a green emerald. (y/n) sheathes the sword, and says "Lets head out and look for the second dungeon."
And the team does just that.
