Remember

~2 weeks ago~

Vallyk's Pov
   I had asked Y/n and the guys to go bowling after school. Derek had dropped me off at my house so I could get ready. It was 5:30 and Derek was outside. I asked him to drive and he let me. We went to pick up Kobe and Mike. We were on our way to bowling. When out of nowhere this car hit us. I don't remember anything after that.

   I was like in a deep sleep. But everything was dark. I tried to open my eyes but I couldn't. Then I started hearing voices. I always heard this girl. Her voice was angelic. She would always talk about her day. And how she missed someone. At one point I thought she was talking about me. She would cry and I felt bad. I wanted to ask what was wrong but I couldn't. One day I tried to open my eyes. I tried really hard and I did. I saw a bright light and a doctor. I turned around both ways. Left and right. I wanted to see the girl. But she wasn't there. Did I imagine everything?
End of Vallyk's Pov

~Present Time~

   I looked through the window and saw Derek. A smile formed on my face. I ran out the door to his car. "Hey, what are you doing here?" I asked. "I'm here to get you. We decided it will be just fair if you saw Vallyk first." "Thank you Derek. Just let me go grab my phone. I'll be right back." "Ok hurry."

   I ran back inside and started walking upstairs as fast as I could. "Who was it?" I heard Ale ask. "It's Derek. He's taking me to the hospital to see Vallyk." I shouted from my room. "Do you want to come?" "Sure." I walked out my room and Mattia standing there. "Hey." I said. "Hey, where you going?" "I'm going to see Vallyk. He's awake." I said full of excitement. "Oh cool." "Do you want to come?" "No I'm good." "Ok."

   I went back downstairs and ran out. I opened the door to Derek's car. "Can Ale come?" "Yeah." "Ok. Ale hurry." I shouted as he was closing the front door. I got in the backseat and Ale in the passenger seat. Derek started driving. It took us fifteen minutes to get there.

   I quickly got to the front of the hospital and saw Kobe and Mike in the waiting room. I went up to them. "Where is he?" "In his room." Mike said."Can we go now?" I asked. "Yeah let's just go ask the lady in the front desk." "Ok." I walked up to the front desk. "Hi, I'm here to see Vallyk Pena." "Yes, you can go ahead. Do you know his room number?" "I do thank you." "No problem sweetie."

   I went back to the guys. "Well what did she say?" Kobe asked. "She said yes." "Ok well good luck." said Mike. "Thank you." I started walking to Vallyk's room and then stopped. I turned around and went back to the waiting room. "What happened?" Ale asked. "I'm nervous. And I feel bad. Derek,Mike, and Kobe should go first. After all they're his best friends." "Y/n it's ok you go first and don't be nervous he's going to be happy." Derek said. "I don't know you guys should go first." "Don't be nervous." Ale said giving me a hug. "Ok I'm going to do it."

   I started walking towards Vallyk's room once again. Right before I walked in I took a deep breath. I saw him he was laying down looking at the ceiling. "Hey." I said. He looked shocked. I assume it was because he hadn't heard anything in so long."Hey." "How are you?" "I'm doing fine." "Oh. I've missed you. A lot." I said. "I'm sorry do I know you?"

What? I thought to myself. He doesn't remember me? What if he doesn't remember anyone? What if it's only me? He looked confused. I tried to just go along with it. "Yeah you do know me. We've actually known each other for three years." "Well I must've forgotten. I'm sorry." "It's ok. I-uh I I'm going to get the doctor." I said standing up and walking out of his room.

   The second I got to the waiting room I broke down. I fell to the floor and cried. I cried loud almost screaming. Derek,Mike,and Kobe stood there in shock. Ale ran to me and hugged me. "Hey what's wrong? What happened?" I stood quiet and just cried in his arms. "God damn Y/n answer my fucking question." He shouted at me.

   "Ale I don't think it's the time to be screaming at her." said Kobe. "Kobe it's fine." I managed to say. I stood up and sat on a chair. I tried to make myself stop crying but I couldn't. Alejandro walked out of the hospital. Derek took the seat next to me.

   "Y/n what happened?" He asked. "He doesn't remember me." I said crying more. "What do you mean?" "He- he doesn't know who I am." "What?" said Mike. "I don't know. He just said he doesn't remember me." "Y/n it's ok. Look Kobe and Mike will go in and if he doesn't remember them then-" Derek stood quiet. I knew he didn't know what would happen next.

    "Yeah we'll go in." Kobe said. "Yeah we'll also tell the doctor." said Mike. They walked away to Vallyk's room. Derek tried to comfort me. "Do you want to eat something?" He asked. "No I'm fine." "You sure?" "Yeah." "Ok I'll be right back." I saw him go to a vending machine. He came back with five Gatorades and a water bottle. He also had granola bars and candy.

   "Here." He said giving me a granola bar and the water bottle. "Derek it's ok I-" "Do you want the Gatorade instead. Or the skittles." "No this is fine thank you." I took it because I knew he wouldn't stop. I opened the water bottle and took a sip. I  opened the granola bar and took a bite. I put them to the side. "At least finish one of them." Derek said while stuffing his face with skittles. I let out a small laugh. I started eating the granola bar again. "Now that's better."
