Chapter 47

Once Bakura had calmed Melino down, they had gone on a walk down by the lake before they finally made it back for dinner. As Bakura walked up to the group they could feel the tempature drop several degrease. 

They looked up at him. 

"what's the matter?" Bella asked looking up at him concerned. 

"A talk with the pharaoh and my sister would be appreciated" Bakura says with a growl. 

Bella and Yugi looked at each other surprised but switched out with their respective partners. 

Atem and Christine looked up at him questioningly. 

"what is it?" Christine asked. 

"You remember what happened with Melino correct...the palace guards killing her" Bakura says coldly. 

"I remember something about it...not much, but she is clearly not dead" Atem says. 

"yes i remember. A patrol had killed her" Christine says. "Aknadin's work" she scowled. 

"Yes and no" Bakura growled. "Isis her self was there" he snarled. 

Christine tensed as she stared up at him. What did he say? 

"Im sorry did you just say...?" Atem sat up. 

"Isis. Yeah. I remember you were real cozy with her weren't you christine" Bakura says crossing his arms in front of himself. 

"no, she wouldnt have" Christine started to say. 

"She did! and not only was she there" Bakura felt his temper rising. "SHE TOOK MY SON!" He snarled causing Christine to recoil away from her own brother. 

"whoa hey" 

Tom walked up to them. "lets not cause a scene" he says calmly glancing around and saw that there were people staring. 

He ushered the group out of the great hall and into the DaDa room. 

"she wouldn't have don't that" Christine says. 

"Riiiight just like pharaoh's father didn't tell you that they took on herem's while on his death bed?" Bakura says scathingly. 

Christine felt her heart stop a moment as she glanced over at Atem hesitantly. 

"oh..." Atem muttered. "that" he looked away. They looked over at saw Melino walk in. 

"Kura please" Melino says walking over as she attempted to calm him down. 

"Oh shit. oh shit" Marie squawked as she flapped her wings as though she was freaking out about something. 

"oh someone want to explain?" Tom asked. 

Bakura turned to Tom. "A priestess from the pharaoh's court took MY SON! what more do we need to say?" He asked angrily. 

"we all thought he died with the mother" Atem says with a sigh. 

"well im not dead" Melino scowled. 

"and the...kid?" Tom asked confused. 

"we dont know" Christine sighed as she tried to come to terms with what they were saying. She could not believe Isis would do something sooo....horrible. 

"And Christine is in denile" Atem added. 

"i am not!" Christine snapped. 

"It's not that hard to believe Christine. I know you two were close...But if Aknadin got to her...or if she saw something" Atem started to say. 

tears formed in Christine's eyes as she stared at the pharaoh. 

"im just saying. Anything is possible." Atem says calmly. Christine bursts into tears. 

"Wait...you see the future...how could you not see that?" Tom asked looking at Christine. This only made Christine cry harder. "oops" Tom muttered seeing that he only upset her more. 

"um, I-I think Christine is broken" Bakura says staring at his sister blinking stunned. Atem glared at him as he pulled Christine close to him and hugged her. 

Melino stared at them with her jaw dropped at the sight, but also confusion filled her. She had never thought about it. 

"Hey...Can you see what happened to him?" She asked as she turned to Christine looking hopeful. "i mean...the necklace?" She asked. 

Christine looked up at her tearfully. "m-my necklace?" she asked. She put her hand on the necklace around her neck. "I...I could try" she says. "but...i Don't know what he looks like" she says. 

"can you trace it from after Isis took him?" Bakura asked. 

"hm..." Christine closed her eyes and was quiet for several moments before suddenly the room around them changed. 

~They were in the forest by a stream. A woman with crazed hair and a wild look in her eyes were there with two children. A 1 year old girl and an infant. The woman was currently attempting to down the red headed girl in the stream. The girl was fighting with all her might to get away from the water, but the older woman was stronger that her. 

The infant was screaming loudly. 

Out of no where another red headed woman appeared and pulled the woman and the child away from the water. "YOU BITCH!!" the red headed woman snarled as she slapped the woman. ~

"mom?" Tom asked looking surprised. as he looked confused. 

~"Rose" The woman snarled at the red headed woman. 

"THEY ARE CHILDREN!" Rose snarled. 

"They are nothing to me! This bitch has out lived her purpose!" The woman snarled indicating to the 1 year old who looked very sick and on her death bed. 

Rose shoved the woman into the water before picking up the baby and the 1 year old and leaving quickly. She rushed them to a very large palace~

"Oh my gods" Bella say shocked. She had taken over when Christine passed out when the vision appeared. 

~"GODS my sister doesn't deserve children!" Rose raged as the doctor checked over the children. 

The 1 year old was on several machines that was keeping her alive. The infant was not as bad. he had a few bruises but over all ok. 

Rose was holding the infant. "you are going to need a name" She says thoughtfully. "hmmm How about Marie for you" She says to the little girl. "and...Tom for you" She says to the boy as a small boy come into the room. 

"mom, Dad is looking for you" the boy says breathlessly. 

"im coming Scorpius" Rose replied as she set walked out holding the infant~

"THE FUCK!" Tom exclaimed before passing out onto the floor causing Bella to recoil. 

"maybe i should have told him about the adoption earlier" Bella says hesitantly. 

The group turned and looked at her stunned.
