Needing Answers and Accident

Sam's POV.

Authors Note- Hey my Lovelies. So just a quick note but if you guys could pretend it's been a few days since her first day and her and Sam meeting. Also that Sam is still new to phasing, even though he is with Emily. He never hurt her because just started to feel weird about it for two weeks before he phased on the day he met Lilly. They had not known each other or anything about the supernatural world until the day they met. Hope that can clear some stuff up, Thanks Darlings! 💕

I woke up with a tired groan and looked to my left side of my arm to see Emily curled up in it with a smile on her face, snoring lightly. I smiled at the sight but then immediately my thoughts went back to Lillian and her beautiful smile.

I got up and stretched hearing my shoulders and knees crack as I stretch. I looked at my supposed "love of my life" Emily Young and kissed her forehead. Than I went and took a shower, and went to work. When I got home at 5PM, I smelled a familiar smell.. Lillian, I thought.

I walked inside curiously and saw Lilly and Emily talking by the kitchen. I was surprised to see them talking and laughing. Emily smiled at me sweetly when she saw me come in, I gave her a peck on the cheek and looked over at Lilly who had a frown and gave me a look as if to say 'we need to talk'. I nodded, I looked at Emily and said "Hey Em, I'm just going to take Lilly to First Beach to talk."

She smiled and nodded, gave Lilly a hug and told her to come back sometime. I walked out of the house with the beautiful blonde and we walked to First Beach side by side. It was quiet for a while until I broke the silence. "Why are you here Lilly?" She froze in her spot and tensed up as if she was scared or nervous.

I looked at the blonde beauty in concern and saw her face the ocean and look out into the waters. I slowly came up behind her and put my right hand on her left shoulder to help calm her nerves.

She took a deep breath and glanced to her left side to make eye contact. I took a sharp breath in seeing Lillian's beautiful green eyes, that showed curiosity and a bit of fear. I frowned when I saw the fear in her eyes.

"I saw something at school a couple days ago, that really freaked me out. I don't know why but your name popped into my head and for some reason my gut instincts told me you had the answers. I asked Charlie if he knew your address and he gave it to me." She stated with a shaky but calm tone.

I nodded at her to continue, "Now you are going to think I'm crazy, but I swear I saw a black wolf that day, in the woods, while I was looking out the window during Biology class. Even before that, the day I met you when I was going back home from the Res, I thought someone was following me but no one was there."

She hesitated before continuing, "Also, when we met... d-did you feel that pull, that need to be near each other?"

The wolf inside me was howling with happiness knowing she felt it too as I nodded slowly with a small smile, but then I realized I still have Emily. My smile quickly disappeared Emily! I thought oh god, she's supposed to be the love of my life what am I doing?! I closed my eyes in frustration and started to shake but suddenly stopped, when I felt her delicate and soft hand touch my shoulder. I opened my eyes and saw her looking at me in concern.

My eyes softened at her gaze and I sighed and brushed my fingers lightly against her cheek. I sniffed the air curiously and frowned when I smelled the scent of Vampires, specifically the Cullens scent. I started to shake even more violently and backed away from to give distance to her. It pissed me off Knowing that those freaking Cullens were near my Imprint! How dare they!? I thought she's mine!

All I could see was red, I was thinking of how to destroy those bloodsuckers for going close to her. I heard Lillian yell my name in shock and fear "Sam?! Sam, what's going on!?" She walked closer to me and tried to reach out and touch my shoulder, scared and wanting to calm me down.

I growled at her and shook even more, then I made the worst mistake in my entire life and phased right in front of her. In the process of me phasing, I was so mad and didn't even fully comprehend what was happening. I ended up scratching the right side of Lillian's face all the way down to her stomach.

Lillian was pushed onto the beach floor during my actions and screamed in agony. I was in my wolf form and immediately phased back into my human form and ran over to Lillian. There was so much blood, she was writhing and crying in pain. I had tears in my eyes and quickly grabbed my cell phone and called Old Quil for help.

- Time Skip -

Old Quil suggested I bring Lillian to the hospital in Forks because he knew Dr. Cullen would be able to help. Dr. Cullen rushed her to the surgery room to close up her wounds. I couldn't stay in there. I just couldn't, not after what happened she definitely will not want to be with me at all after this situation.

I phased when I was finally back in the woods and let out a big painful howl trying to let out all my emotions. I ran through the woods and gasped when I remembered that Emily didn't know where I was.

I ran back to my place where Emily was sitting on the couch watching TV. I walked in after phasing back to normal and gave her a small hug and peck on the cheek. She smiled up at me but her smile quickly vanished when she saw the deep frown on my face and stood up to face me. "What's wrong Sam? Is everything okay?" I sighed and mentally decided that now is not the right time to tell Emily, I want to wait a bit until Lillian fully figures everything out on her own.

I looked at my girlfriend with sad eyes "Lillian Swan got attacked by a bear, when she was walking near the woods, to get home, after talking to me." Was the story I came up with in my head. It's not like I could tell her or anyone else the truth, like hey! I phased into a big black wolf and scratched her while we were on the beach, that just would not help.

Emily gasped in shock and concern and said "Oh gosh! Is she okay!?" I shook my head and frowned even more knowing I was the cause of my imprints pain, "No.. she has really deep scratches that are most likely going to scar, Lilly is in the hospital in Forks right now." Emily looked worried for her new friend and decided to bake some cookies to give to Lillian tomorrow.
