"Not so different from me." [Emery huang]

Extra: Episode 3

(this is an episode but i didn't want to write too much of the episode since the original is funny af 😂)
Jennie's pov:
It was the day of the barbecue. And i was wearing an outfit that works really well since it was incredibly hot. It had been a few days since i saw the huang's, turns out mom and dad have to go out of town. AGAIN. So i'm staying with the huang's.

I walk around and see Mr.huang at a stage trying to build his franchise. "When i say rib- eye you say streak. Rib-eye!" he yells. I yell back "Steak!" he looks at me and smiles a little. "Thanks jennie." he tells me. I do finger guns. I walk around when i come across Mr. marvin and Honey. "Marvin! Honey!" i say excitedly. I met them when i first moved into the neighborhood. Marvin's old wife used to be mean, so when he introduced me to honey i was so happy. They made each other happy, and that's all that mattered to me.

"Jennie!" they both yell excitedly. Honey runs over to hug me and i hug back. "Hi! How was the Bahamas?" i pull away smiling. She smiles back "Oh it was so gorgeous jen's! The beach and everything ah! It was great." she tells me. "Ah! I'm glad. Hey i'm gonna walk around, see you in a little?" i tell her. She nods her head "see ya!" Marvin says bye and ruffles my hair.

I walk around to see eddie dressed weirdly. "Hey ed's watcha doing?" i ask him tilting my head a bit. "Looking for honey." he corrects himself "I mean A honey." i nod. Soon emery comes up to both of us holding two girls hands. "Hey eddie, jennie." he greets us. I look at the girls then back at him, and start to play and squeeze my fingers which i do when i'm uncomfortable. "You have two dates?" eddie asked surprised. "Yep this is Simone and Bianca." "Hey. "Hi." the two girls greet.

I start to feel uncomfortable. "Hey i'll see you around ed's. Emery, emery's dates." i say nodding my head at each of them. I walk away. So a few nights ago, i realized i like emery. I know surprising, and a bit dumb since we're pretty young. But i just don't see him the way i see eddie, or evan. They're like my brothers i've never had.

I sit on the curb, sighing and looking at my feet. Mrs.huang was walking and I guess she noticed me. "Jennie? Are you alright?" she asks me looking down to where i'm sitting. I give a fake smile. "Yeah, i'm alright mrs.huang." she shakes her head and sits next to me. "What's wrong?" i sigh. "I like someone, but I don't think they like me. And i'm also really young and have only liked someone once."  i finally tell her getting it off my chest.

She makes an "ah"ing sound. "So you finally realized it." she tells me. I looks at her confused "realized what?" i asks her. Mrs. huang smiles "your feelings for emery. Now before you say you don't i know you do and it's alright. There's nothing wrong with feeling this way towards someone. And if emery doesn't like you that's his loss, you're a good person jennie. Never let people say otherwise." she tells me. I nod at smile "thanks mrs.huang." "of course. I'm gonna go get some food." i nod.

Third person pov:
Eddie had just tried to get honey to a dance that was very sexual. "Trouble with the ladies?" eddie turns his head to see his brother with his two dates in a kiddy pool. "Dude why is this so hard?" eddie asks. "Cause real life isn't a rap video eddie." mr. huang comes up to the two telling them to network. "Look, eddie love is tricky." he tells his older brother.

Eddie looks annoyed to his younger brother. "Who said anything about love? I'm talking about women." "You're just saying that cause you've never been in love eddie." emery tells him. "And you have? What about jennie, huh?" eddie asks emery. Eddie knows about jennie's feelings, since he was the only one she told. He understood and told her that her secret was safe with him.

"What about jennie?" emery asks. Eddie rolls his eyes "you're ridiculous and absolutely oblivious. You can't even tell, can you?" eddie knew his younger brother had mutual feelings for the girl, but never said anything. "Tell what?" emery asks getting up to stand infront of his brother. Eddie sighs "there's no good in sugar coating it. She likes you." emery looked surprised but before he could respond eddie continued "and i know you like her." emery stays quiet.

Emery's two dates had already walked away at that point. "She likes me..?" emery asks looking at his brother who nodded his head. "She told me a few days ago, but keeps pushing it aside because you're only the second person she's ever liked." emery nods trying to rap his head around the whole situation. Then they all walked over to wear they saw Jessica performing.

Time skip:

Jennie pov:
After Mrs. huang's performance, a blue car had drove up. I didn't know who it was until i saw her. Nicole. My best friend. She was walking over to her dad when she saw me. She ran over to give me a hug and i met halfway squeezing her back.

"Nicole! I missed you!" i tell her happy that the evening was getting somewhat better. She pulled back from the hug, smiling back. "I missed you two, but it was only a few weeks." she tells me laughing. I laugh along with her "I know i just missed you." and i spent the rest of the evening talking to her.
