Lena POV- 

So kara left my office pretty fast and jess my assistant said it was the fastest time yet. fastest time of someone running out of my office. Yes week keep track because one it's kind of funny on the other hand it is very sad that people are so scared of me without me even knowing who I am. But yeah it's whatever. 

so after kara left I got a phone call off of Clarke Kent, superman closest ally, asking me for an interview just a personal one, its not going to get published but he wants to talk things over with me so basically he is doing a check in on me for superman probably because of supermans little sister. 

I have been so zoned out and unfocused that jess is now bussing him in, I walk to the door and I can hear laughter, I open my door and to my suprise kara is there with him. 

" well this is a pleasant surprise" I say looking at kara  "well not like you wanted to see me or anything" Clarke jokes, and honestly that took me by surprise and I feel so much more relaxed now that he broke the ice with me. I laugh and respond to his comment "Of course, The pleasure is all mine." kara looked down as I welcomed them both into my office , they both took a seat and Clarke started asking me questions, like so many questions right off the bat like straight away. Kara is very fidgety like she needs the bathroom or something is she really that nervous in my presence because I'm really not that scary like honestly.  

Clarkes phone buzzes he looks at kara then his phone, as to say I need to take this kind of a motivational look, while addressing her first he really cares about her.  "Kar I've got to go take this I will be right back please, excuse me lena" I smile at him as to say that is fine, Kara also nods, Clarke walks out answering his phone.

I don't hesitate to start a conversation with her. "So, Kara you keep surprising me. Every time. So tell me how you know Clarke Kent and how you managed to shadow a interview with him like I am mega confused" she smiles at me but thinks for a moment as to how to answer the question in which I just asked her "erm I don't know it just kinda happened?" She looks shocked "DID YOU USED TO DATE?!" she visibly cringed at what I just blurted out "that would be super gross considering she's my little cousin" Clarke said waking back into the room. WHAT they are cousins what the hell, I didn't know Clarke had a family maybe there just adopted cousins, but they kind of look like.  Kara turns and looks at him " dude?" He laughs at her loudly "basically everyone knows now "after you come to met me at catco" he rolls his eyes "so reporting runs in the genes" I say and kara just  shrugged "of course she's got me to look upto" I raised my eyebrow and kara dead eyes him saying "cockey much?" Clarke laughs looking towards me  "well Lena I'm going to be honest this interview has been so much better than i expected it to go" I smile "I'm not some evil witch everyone expects me to be" I look at kara out of the corner of my eye then laughs with Clarke. "You aren't" Clarke says looking at me "why aren't you talking kara" Clarke says to kara, kara looks at him giving him the shut up eyes.

 "I don't think she likes me" I says kind of joking but defiantly not joking. "I'm just shy that's all honestly it's not you" kara rushes out, oh my gosh she is so cute, I bite my lip quickly and then remembering the situation that I am in I stop. 

"well miss Luther, this has honestly been a pleasure and thank you so much for having us both even if you know my cousin is very awkward but we will make a reporter out of her yet" Clarke said standing up rubbing kara's head. kara glares at him also standing. I stand to shake there hands. "please don't hesitate to pop in or email me, I will make time, as I don't normally see anyone but cat but I am sure cat will make an acceptation if its under catco, you know don't want to annoy a good friend never mind the queen of media" they both laugh at me "I am heading back home tonight but I am sure you will be seeing more of kara around, don't be a stranger lena" he says shaking my hand picking his things up, kara just smiles shaking my hand saying "thank you lena, it means a lot to us for your time" she says turning. 

they both head to the door. "Kara you are so god damn awkward" Clarke says laughing at her, "shhhhh man" she ways shoving him softly. " don't worry kara you did good, I know im a lot" she blushes looking down. "see kara she's lying being nice to make you feel better" we all laugh "I am leaving now I feel attacked" kara says shuffling out the door. 

honestly she is so cute, god damn what am I thinking she is terrified of me. i don't even know what todo to change her perspective of me because I haven't done anything for her to be scared of me, or is it just her. 

-kara p.o.v -

honestly coming out of the interview I was so embarrassed with them both taking the mick out of me and I can't even help but find it funny. she is actually so nice, but I just can't shake the feeling of the unknown. me and Clarke step into the elevator " how come you aren't worried about her" I say looking at Clarke, he smiles at me. " because she has tried for years to constantly prove herself and stay out of the public, I believe in giving everyone a chance and that's what I am doing with her." I smile and nod "she's kind of cool kara , its sad that she said she's not getting out much, because she doesn't know anyone" Clarke looks at me " I know that is sad" we exit the elevator, " you should go have a chat with her you know on your own you need to get comfortable with her kara, you getting awkward around her isn't going to do you any good, she seems like a nice girl" I nod "ok I will email her tomorrow. Clarke always makes me find the sense in different situations and in this situation its lena and getting to know her. 

so tomorrow, I have cat to face, I have lena to face and Alex wants to have a chat. what the hell. tomorrow is going to be a fun day.
