Maggie
"Hi." I snuggled more into Tyler as he pulled me closer.
"Good morning." I turned to peek up at him, finding him smiling at me.
"Our girl should be getting up."
"I like it here, though." I smiled as he cupped my cheek, bringing our lips together.
"I love you."
"I love you too." He smiled, giving me another kiss before getting up.
"You sure you don't want me to swing by the bar?" I nodded, getting up pulling his long sleeve shirt over me.
"Yeah, I will be okay. I promise if I need you, I'll text you."
"Okay, now let's go feed the kids." He smirked, walking into the kitchen. I shook my head, finding him filling Jake's dog bowl. One kid down, now onto the next.
"I'm going to wake her. You got her breakfast?" He nodded as I went to Luna's room. Jake's head bounced up as I opened the door.
"Dad, got your food ready." I smiled as Jake jumped off the bed, heading into the kitchen. I walked over, sitting on her bed, gently shaking her.
"Time to wake up, baby girl. Daddy is getting breakfast ready." She rolled over, rubbing her eyes.
"You sleep okay?" She nodded, reaching up to wrap her arms around me. I snuggled her close, bringing her to the kitchen.
"Morning, princess."
"Morning, daddy." She mumbled against my shoulder as I sat down.

"Hey, how did it go yesterday?" Sam asked as I walked back into the bar area.
"Awesome, Luna had so much fun."
"Awe good, It's so crazy that she is four."
"And this place has been ours for almost five years."
"Speaking of which, what is going on with Abby. She's not coming into today, said she wasn't feeling good."
"She was fine yesterday. Something is going on with her, but I can't figure it out yet." I frowned, feeling like something was serious. Before I could attempt to figure it out, my mom walked through the door.
"You came?"
"It's time, Maggie." I nodded, sitting down at one of the booths as she followed me.
"This is nice." She looked around, but I knew she didn't mean it. One of the reasons we had a falling out was this place. She disagreed that a bar would help raise my daughter. My dad had passed it down to me before he died. It's been in our family for years. When we first moved here eight years ago, dad and I worked hard to renovate this place.
"I know you're not here because you miss me. So what are you doing here?"
"I want to get to know my granddaughter."
"I have a hard time believing you."
"Come on, Maggie." I shook my head, not wanting to get into this with her here.
"No. You didn't even want me to have her. You left when I needed a parent the most. My father just died, and my boyfriend left. My world was already spinning when I found out about my daughter. Listen, I have other problems to get to." I got up, pulling my phone out calling Tyler.
"Hey, everything okay?" Sam asked as I walked back over to the bar top.
"Yeah, I think so. I'm going to head over to Abby's and see what's going on with her. Max acting differently?"
"A little more lost than usual. I have to go. Love you."
"Love you too." I turned to find my mom gone before going over to find Sam.
"Hey, I'm going to check on Abby. Call me if you have any other problems."
"Will do, boss." She smirked as I walked into my office, grabbing my things. I texted Fallen, telling her to meet me at Abby's.
Before heading to Abby's, I stopped by the grocery store, picking up a few things I think she might need. Pulling up to Abby's, Fallen was right behind me.
"She knows we're here?"
"Nope, this is going to be the only way she's going to talk to us." She nodded as we went up to knock on the door. Opening the door, she looks completely different than yesterday.
"Hey."
"Sam said you weren't feeling good, and we are worried about you." She nodded, letting us in. We followed her back into the living room, where she curled back with her blanket.
"I'm pregnant." She whispered as tears filled her eyes. Fallen and I quickly went to her wrapping our arms around her.
"Who?"
"Max. We both had a little too much to drink at your wedding. One thing led to another, and here we are."
"Oh, sweetie, does he know?"
"Not yet. I'm going to tell him I promise. That night everything changed for us, for me." She sobbed as we held her tight.
"Abby, you need to tell him. I know you're scared, but it will all work out." She nodded, resting her head against my chest.
"Maggie is right. Max loves you, and he's going to love this baby."
"I'll have him come over after work."
After spending another hour with Abby, I left going to pick up Luna from school.
"Momma," Luna yelled as I walked around the wall. I smiled, getting down to her level to wrap my arms around her.
"Hi baby, how was school?"
"Good."
"Alright, come on. Daddy might be at home." I smiled, taking her bag from her. I got her settled in the car before heading home. Tyler was home, so hopefully, that means Max is at Abby's. Walking into the house, Jake was curled up to Tyler, letting me know something is wrong.
"Daddy." Luna ran over, jumping into his arms.
"Hey, princess." He smiled, but it didn't meet his eyes.
"Luna, let's get you a snack, and you can watch your show." She nodded, following me into the kitchen, where I made her a quick snack. I gave Tyler a look as he made his way over to me. His arms wrapped around me as I leaned up for a kiss.
"Everything okay?" I asked, hugging him tightly.
"My buddy JD called. He's not doing good. He's got no one, Mags."
"He can come here. He can stay in the loft as long he needs to. As for a job, I'm sure I can find something for him, a bar or.." he pressed his lips to mine, stopping my train of thought.
"I love you so much."
"I love you too. Whatever he needs, we will be there together. Will you tell me a little more about him?"
"We met at boot camp and stayed together until recently. His brother was apart of Bravo and was killed. We both took it pretty hard. JD wanted to stay while I wanted to come home."
"That's terrible. Call him right now and tell him he can come here." He nodded, pressing his forehead to mine.
"Daddy, come watch this with me," Luna yelled, making us sigh.
"Call him. We will be waiting for you." He nodded, giving me another kiss.
