Laying on his bed, Blaine tossed a bouncy ball into the air and caught it with one hand. Sighing, he continued this cycle for a good forty five minutes before his big brother snatched the ball.

"Hey!"

"Hey yourself, lazy ass. Get up!" Cooper grabber hie little brother's hand and dragged him to his feet.

"I'm not being lazy," Blaine argued, "I've worked for forty eight hours straight, and this is my first day off and I'd like to sleep."

"Doesn't look like you're sleeping,"

"Well I was getting to it."

Cooper sighed, and crossed his arms. "It's Saturday night Blaine. You're supposed to have fun! Get   laid-"

Blaine rolled his eyes and sat up, "I don't want advice about my love life from my big brother who can't keep a date for longer than two hours."

"I didn't say love," Cooper smirked, "I said get laid. Have a one night stand, have some fun!"

"I don't do that, Cooper!"

"Exactly! That's why you need it! It'll let out the tension-"

"Oh my god!" Blaine walked past his brother, going to the kitchen to get something strong to drown out his brother.

"If you want alcohol, just come with me to work! Then you get talk to someone and hook up with them!" Cooper smirked, crossing his arms as he leaned against the counter.

Blaine sighed, "If I say yes to going—not hooking up with someone—will you leave me alone?"

"Oh, come on," Cooper laughed, "You and I both know that if you show up you'll find a hot guy to f-"

"Oh my god, I'm getting in the car, just shut up."

Cooper was flirting with a girl across the counter at the bar twenty minutes away from their apartment. He had been working there for five years now, and the amount of times he had brought back a girl—or a boy, depending on the day—was more than Blaine could count.

The younger brother was sipping something the older had concocted, and it was already kicking in. His brain was buzzing, and he was actually enjoying himself. Blaine was the type of person who could sit back and watch the world and be content. He was not the party boy, for Cooper was the life of the party enough for the both of them.

Blaine looked across the the room, and his eyes landed on a boy who looked rather uncomfortable. This made him sit up straighter, trying to analyze the situation. The boy was tall but frail, and clearly looked like he wanted to do anything but talk to the man in front of him. Without thinking, Blaine got up and walked towards the two.

"Hey," Blaine said. Closer up, he noticed that the boy had glasz eyes; the kind that is a mix of blue, green, grey, and a hint of yellow. They were beautiful, and at the moment, full of fear. Blaine knew what he needed to do. He wrapped his arm around the boy slowly, and turned to the other. "I need to talk to my boyfriend, if you don't mind."

The other boy scoffed, turning to glasz boy. "Is this seriously your boyfriend?"

Blaine looked up at the one he held in his arms, and only then did he realize that he was significantly taller than him.

"It is. Now will you leave me alone, please?"

The boy's voice was angelic, a higher pitch than Blaine had expected. The boy bothering him rolled his eyes and stomped away.

"Thank you...Thank you..." Glasz boy let out a sigh of relief, and smiled a bit at Blaine. "You have no idea how much that meant to me..."

"Don't mention it," Blaine smirked, the alcohol setting in slightly, "Saving people is kind of what I do."

Luckily, the boy laughed, his eyebrow raising. "Oh, is it? How so, Mr. Clark Kent?"

Blaine smiled back, "I'm a firefighter."

"Well, thank you for your service. I'm Kurt. It's very nice to meet you. Officially, as your not-fake-boyfriend." Kurt held out his hand happily. The shorter grabbed it and shook it firmly. "Can I buy you a drink?" Kurt continued, "I mean, it's the least I can do."

Blaine smiled kindly and nodded, "Sure. Lead the way," He waved his hand in front of him, gesturing for Kurt to walk in a grandiose fashion.

Kurt giggled softly, and perhaps it was the booze, but   Blaine found that giggle to be absolutely adorable.

The two sat at the bar and talked for hours. They never even realized how fast time passed, they were too entranced in their own world. Cooper noticed his baby brother talking to the taller. "That's my boy..." He mumbled and smirked.

The conversation between them flowed easily, and before they knew it, the casual conversation turned into drunken flirting.

The two were laughing at something that was said when Kurt suddenly blurted, "Do you want to come to my apartment?"

Perhaps it was the alcohol, or the lateness of the night, but when the question was asked, Blaine decided that he wanted this. "Yeah..."
