Better late than never! Thanks for the questions and sorry it took so long for me to get to them!

Q: Are any of the events or characters based on real life?

A: I don't remember any of the events being based on anything. The characters really weren't either, but I really wanted to have a character named Fox because I love the name, so Fox was the first character I had for the story just based off my love for the name.

Q: Does Trevor ever find a love interest?

A: I'd like to think he finds someone in college who is kind of hard around the edges but a huge softy for him (kind of like Fox). He deserves some love and I think he'll find it one day. Bonus fun fact: I almost put Trevor with Austin.

Q: Will Sam & Mason ever meet Elijah and Fox? Do you think of your ideas as you go or do you think of them all at once? And if you do plan do you deviate from the plan often?

A: I never really think of my books happening in the same universe, but I guess it's possible that Sam and Mason could meet Elijah and Fox since both stories are set around the same area. I usually have a plan in my head and have a little outline before I start writing. My ideas usually come from just one scene I really want to happen and then I write a whole story leading up to that scene which can be a bad thing or a good thing because sometimes I get to the scene and don't know where to go after that. I deviate from the plan ALL THE TIME. Sometimes things just don't work out the way you think they will, or you get a new idea you want to work in, or the original plan just doesn't make as much sense as it did during planning. Especially when I'm trying to work through writer's block, I end up writing something that causes me to have to alter the original plan.

Q: If Fox and Elijah ever have children in the future, do you think they will continue the animal name trend? And if they do, who do you think will take it too far and throw out a ridiculous option like "zebra?"

A: I think Elijah would be all for keeping the theme! But Fox, not so much. It would probably start an argument and Fox would be like "There are no other animal names left that my family doesn't already have! Are we going to name the kid zebra?" Then Elijah would suggest a nature theme (like Rose, Lily, etc.) or something and Fox would hate the idea but they would compromise by going with Elijah's idea.

Q: Will there be any sort of Knight/On Thin Ice crossover? You never really described Elijah and Fox's specific features other than Fox's brown eyes, is there a reason for that?

A: I would never say no to a crossover because I never know when I'm going to get an idea that I like and would work out, but I haven't really given a crossover much thought. It was not really a conscious decision to not describe their features, it was more subconscious because I don't really like reading extensive descriptions on how the characters look. Especially since I know a lot of people like to picture the characters how they want (I do too) so I don't like to be constantly reminded, for example, that the main character has blond hair when I want him to have brown hair. That's why I like the character aesthetics at the beginning so you can get an idea of their vibe without being constantly reminded throughout the story how they look. So, it wasn't necessarily on purpose but there's a reason for it kinda?

Q: Can we see Trevor and Landon bond?

A: All I'm going to say is that I have plans for Landon.

Q: Was there a possible couple/pairing that didn't make the cut? Are there possibilities of side character stories?

A: I was going to put Trevor and Austin together toward the end because I thought they would be fun but I just didn't have the time to really put effort into that relationship. I also considered Trevor with Wren but never really planned that out. I just really wanted Trevor to have someone I guess. There is a BIG possibility of a side character story so stay tuned.

Q: Is there even the slightest possibility of a bonus chapter that looks into Landon's life?

A: I have plans for Landon! Stay tuned!

Q: How do you feel about Landon/Wren

A: All I'm going to say is I have plans.

Nicholas_Morgan

Q: What are your thoughts on doing a spin-off for Landon?

A: I have a lot of thoughts about that.

Q: Will there be a book about Landon or Ian?

A: Not sure about Ian. I've thought about how I could do a story on Ian but don't really have anything planned.

Q: Will Susan finally accept Elijah's sexuality in the future and at least try to restore their old relationship? And will she leave her husband?

A: I'd like to think that she will somehow leave her husband and reconcile with Elijah. I truly think she loves her son, but she needs to open her mind and fix the way she thinks about homosexuality before she tries to reconcile with him. I think Elijah had begun to move on from needing his mother. He would like to have a relationship with her, but he has grown beyond needing and desiring that.

Q: What do Elijah and Fox look like?

A: Check out their character aesthetics in the cast chapter!

Q: Is it going to be Trevor/Landon or Wren/Landon?

A: All I'm going to say is that I have plans for two of the characters mentioned in this question.

dumbmachine

Q: Do you plan on writing a book about Wren/Landon?

A: All I'm going to say is I have plans about some things.
