"Sweetheart?"

"Can you hear me?"

"Please wake up..."

"I didn't mean to scare you..."

"Sweetheart?"

Death...

No matter how good a person explains it, you'll end up asking yourself the same question over and over again.

When we die, where would we go? That's the biggest question.

Actually, I don't actually know if I'm dead or not. Wait. That means I've been scaring myself for nothing! Damn it, where am I? I looked around me, and was met by a darkness no one could compare. I don't think there's anyone here... I walked forward. I don't think there's anyone here I either... I walk further... and I stopped.

Frustration got the better of me.

"Hey! Whoever you are out there, let me out! If you want to fight, come out and get me like a man!" I shouted, my voice echoing in the darkness. All of a sudden, a strong wind came bellowing towards me like a reply and I quickly wrapped my arms around myself, shielding myself from the icy temperature. "Is that a sigh of defeat?!" I smirked and the strong wind continued to slam itself onto me once more.

There was no one with me when I awoke to this place. I felt as if my body was just thrown inside this dark, strange place. It's so cold and eerie, I feel like something's about to emerge from the darkness.

"YO!!!!" I yelled again. I listened for any possible sound. Sounds that would lead me to hope.

There wasn't any response. I don't think anyone can hear me at all. This place is like my own personal cell... and for a rebellious person like me, I freaking do not like to be held prisoner. I started wandering around, tired so staying in the same spot. Plus nothing is going to happen if I stay around in one spot.

As if all hope is gone, I heard a voice.

"Sweetheart?"

My heart almost skip a beat to the tenderness of how the voice sound. I then shook my head and regain my composure. "Yo, stranger! How can I get out?" I yelled back, feeling hope rising within me.

"Great lord, it is you, Sweetheart. I almost thought I lost you!" The voice almost louder now.

I gaped and said bluntly. "Who the hell are you? Why can't I see you? Where am I? Why am I here? WHO ARE YOU?" One question after another uncontrollably shoots out from my mouth.

"Hush, Sweetheart. Calm down and listen to me," the voice said softly. "Just keep walking."

As much as I hate it when someone orders me to do something, I had no other choice but to obey him if I want to get my sorry ass out of this enclosed cell. "Keep walking?" I echoed. "There's no way out of here." I heard him give a slight chuckle. I pouted and demand, "So? Do I keep walking till there's no tomorrow or is there a way out?"

"Just keep walking, Sweetheart. Keep walking until you see the light. And when you get there... wait for me."

Wait for him? Why would I wait for a stranger? For all I know, he could be a senile old man.

"Do not think that of me, Sweetheart! I am certainly not a senile old man! Well, it is true that I am old.. but, age doesn't matter, does it sweetheart?"

How did he...? Anyway, it doesn't matter. What matters right now is that I get myself out of here ASAP. I'm as hungry as hell and I can't wait to get out of of here to get some tacos from Taco Bell. Delicious tacos... wait for me...
