chapter eight

y/n, hanta and denki asked for permission before leaving the gym and heading to the support course students' classes. y/n walked in between the two boys, that was until hanta decided to run ahead. he said he wanted to "get the good stuff before you guys."

"hey y/n, can we just walk? i'm still kinda tired from training yesterday," kaminari looked at the girl next to him.

"oh! i was just about to ask the same thing. i haven't trained since i was in america it kinda wore me out," y/n smiled at him. "also this is kinda sudden considering we've only just met but, is there any girl you like in class? oh! or guy? i don't judge!"

kaminari was surprised to say the least, "huh? well yeah i guess i'm kind of into a girl in our class. why do you ask you into me or something?" he asked, he sounded like he was joking but he was completely serious.

"i cannot answer that one captain!" y/n saluted kaminari, laughing, "let's just say one of my friends may or may not be into you, so can you tell me who the lucky girl is or?"

"ahhh," kaminari starched the back of his neck, "i'll tell you some other time okay? besides look, we're here," he pointed at the door for the support course class. y/n nods before opening the door, she is immediately bombarded by a pink haired girl with a black tank top, she pounces on her.

"fresh meat!" the pink haired girl looks at y/n her eyes practically glowing, as she starts running her hands over the poor girl's body.

y/n squeals trying to push her away, and failing miserably. that was until she spotted kaminari over y/n's shoulder. the girl then jumped onto kaminari and it was his turn to be felt up by her hands. at that moment hanta came up next to y/n, both of them staring at kaminari. the girl next to hanta crossed her arms preferring to look anywhere else but at the couple. hanta notices this but decides to save the teasing for later, "um, hatsume? do you think you could help us upgrade our costumes?" hanta asked hatsume, as soon as he finished asking she ran away from kaminari's side and over to a huge pile of machines and inventions.

"oh of course! all you had to do was ask!" hatsume began digging around the giant pile as kaminari joined the duo.

"did you enjoy being felt up dude?" hanta asked kaminari, giving him a side glance before looking at y/n and back at him. y/n refused to make contact with either of the boys as stared straight forward looking at the girl digging through the machinery.

"what? of course dude, i mean she's a total hottie!" kaminari laughed a little at the question.

y/n rolled her eyes, "hey hatsume! let me help!" she smiled at the girl, hatsume gladly accepted the offer as both girls searched through the pile for the right materials all of them needed for their hero costumes.

as both girls were looking through the pile hanta turned to kaminari, "you're a dumbass dude," he sighed at the blonde, shaking his head.

"huh?! how?!" kaminari turned to face hanta in disbelief.

"can't say, it's a secret," hanta says as he does a zipping motion over his mouth.

"you suck," he exhales in response before looking over to the (h/c) haired girl running towards him with something in her hands.

"look! you said you needed something to help you aim your bolts right? mei said this was perfect for that!" y/n handed the addon to kaminari with a smile.

"mei? since when are you guys on a first name basis?" he asked as he took the addon and put it on.

"well everyone calls me by my first name, she says i can do the same," she responds before mei comes and explains how to use kaminari's addon. hanta decides he doesn't need any upgrades, y/n adds a belt with a small bag to hold a small book full of animal related anatomy and kaminari leaves with a new support item.

eventually classes ended along with dinner. y/n and her friend group full of girls were cleaning up when hanta pulled her aside to hang out in his room, quickly apologizing to the girls for stealing their friend before dragging the girl away.

"what's up?" y/n asked when they arrived at his dorm room, going to sit on his bed.

"okay, be straight up with me dude, do you have feelings for kaminari?" hanta asked as he climbed onto the bed and sat next to her.

(a/n: sorry for not updating so frequently & for the short chapter ^^; i have online school so i'm swampeddd, but i'm working on chapter 9 right now so maybe i'll update soon !! tysm <3)
