(This is it. What you've been waiting for~ or probably haven't been waiting for because there are other Todomomo books. Anyways, welcome to the new All Of The Lights!)
The Yaoyorozus were a highly respectable family in both Japan and France. A mother with skills as great as her beauty, a father who gained the respect of several government officials, and a daughter who was the definition of perfection. Just a respectable family with nothing going on behind the scenes. No, seriously! They were perfect inside and out. Murielle, the mother was obviously a bit stern and strict but it never hurt anyone! The only time anyone got hurt was when... nope! No one ever got hurt in this household.
Ever since Momo was young she had gotten choices on everything in life. Apples or peaches. She always chose peaches, what she happened to be named after. Green dress or red dress. She chose the red dress. Chocolate or Vanilla? She chose vanilla. Be a hero or gain the family business? Momo chose to gain the family business. Her kids could always be the next best heroes and what good would her quirk do other than provide aid? Sure she could make weapons but she would have to learn how to use them and it was a bit useless to have her when all she could make was non living things. So she decided it would be better to gain the family business. Being a hero would be too much anyways. Her mother was one and she didn't come home until three in the morning on some nights. Then some nights she'd come home covered in a mixture of her blood and someone else's. Awful right? Momo was scared of that. Genuinely terrified of dying an 'honorable death'.
The older Iida brother was a hero as well. He was nothing but kind when Momo dropped by to see Tenya. The two twelve year olds had been friends since birth. Well, they weren't born on the same day but they had been best friends since Momo was born. They shared jokes, were known as the "tattle tails' ' and were also the only two who were brave enough to touch a frog at recess. Momo was really reluctant but Tenya... he picked it up and held it in his hands when someone tried to kill it! So rude... Only after Momo saw it so comfortable and happy in Tenya's hands, she decided to hold it herself. Their teacher almost lost her wig because she was so scared! She made them wash their hands and they still laughed about it even a month later! Tenya wanted to be a hero and even planned on going to UA. Momo's mother went to a hero academy in France while she was there, but Momo thought they were all The same and that there was no point in having a debate on who the better school was. In her opinion, all they did was help get people killed. To a large amount of people, her ideas were false and UA and Shiketsu were the "go to" schools. It was an unrealistic dream that only people with combat quirks could achieve.
At the moment, twelve year old Momo and Tenya were getting picked up by Momo's father. Murielle was busy making plans with her hero agency. Her mother's quirk was called Detective, making it pretty good for that. Detective was where she got the very difficult part of her quirk, which also made Science, more importantly chemistry, her favorite subject. Biology was fun but it was living things, which she couldn't make! So it wasn't that useful to her.
"When we get home, I want you to practice your piano Momo." Her father, August, reminded her. Momo just nodded. Music was the one thing her parents didn't give her a choice on. She didn't have The choice to play a sport, she had to play an instrument. She did have a choice on which one though. Violin or Piano. She chose Piano. She didn't mind it, she got good at it over time. She could even play with her eyes closed! Well, it was an exaggeration. She couldn't play with her eyes closed, she could play it without a music sheet sometimes, depending on the song. Twinkle Twinkle Little Star? She could knock it outta the park? Midnight Sonata? No. She would suck at Beethoven if she didn't have a music sheet.
"I have a football game Saturday! Do you wanna come?"
Momo's eyes lit up and she started clapping as if she were four. "Of course! I would love to! Is it American Football? Sorry, I forgot what you play!" Momo laughed.
