               everybody wears a clock of their own. it could be in their wrist or right above their heads where numbers would flicker from one digit to another. time is constantly moving, clocks are constantly ticking until it come to an abrupt stop.

everbody wears a clock of their own. everyone have their own timers, with every tick and tock can lead to something a beginning or an end.

and for hyejin, it's definitely the latter.

loud pop music was blasting on the background, lively chatters fill the air followed by boisterous laughter — everybody was having fun and definitely enjoying and savoring the running time.

and soon all those laughter come to an aprubt stop and the reality they momentarily set aside is now standing infront them.

the lee mansion is where everyone is currently gathered, from donghyuck's relatives, to his friends and his beloved, everyone is currently present as they held the important party.

then starts the water works.

the laughter died down as the sobs and cries rises. from lively chatters to heart breaking goodbyes — it was a total turn of atmosphere.

and hyejin could only watch feeling her chest tighten as well.

those who are present are now bidding their goodbyes, wishing their safety for him. from a corner hyejin could perfectly see how haeun is tearing up along with jiayu as the gang crowded donghyuck — until a burst of sob erupted and everyone from their circle is suddenly crying.

hyejin could only look away, indeed, it was hard to believe that donghyuck would leave few hours from now with no reassurance of him coming back.

and it didn't take long for the dispidida party to end.

            nothing is sinking in yet and all hyejin did is stare at the man sitting beside her, her eyes not leaving his figure, way too afraid that if she look away he'll suddenly disappear.

"crush mo na ako niyan?" donghyuck tease upon noticing her gaze making her crack a smile as she move her gaze back to the plasma screen where another disney movie is playing.

"mahal actually." she corrected making donghyuck chuckle in amusement.

after the small dinner party that they have, as promised donghyuck stayed with hyejin for the night and that brings them at their current situation.

his hand slowly snake to hers, clutching his cold hand to his warm hand and all hyejin did is stare at him.

examining everything that she love about him for the last time.

from his eyes, how they held all wonders beneath them, how they glisten under the sun's golden due and how different emotions swam across them.

to his nose, to his lips, even to his moles that maps the constellation across his tan skin.

she watch how he planted a soft kiss in the back of her hand — such small action that never fail to pierce her heart.
