                frustration, annoyance, jealousy and pain — were the few emotions hyejin was certain she's currently feeling. mind traveling back to the scene she witness back at the restaurant two days ago while savoring the bitter taste of the alcohol down her throat.

'donghyuck is dumb.' she thought, placing the glass down on the counter with a frown tugging her lips. 'or maybe I'm the dumb one.' she sighed.

for the past few days since donghyuck's birthday, hyejin had been patiently waiting for donghyuck's response. patiently waiting and holding unto the thin string of hope that donghyuck would actually take her back.

now that she actually think about it, it's obviously the latter. she's dumb for thinking, even hoping that donghyuck would still willingly take her back — that donghyuck still feel something for her.

the pent up emotion she'd been keeping inside as she anxiously watch the days past by is finally taking a toll on her that she just find herself in an unfamiliar bar the next day, drinking all her worries away. — but it didn't do her any better. she's still thinking about a certain tan male that wouldn't leave her mind like a plague.

four years, 'four fucking years.' and hyejin still find herself loving her highschool sweetheart, her first love. hyejin still find herself loving donghyuck lee.

it was dumb that after four whole years her heart is still beating for donghyuck and after four whole years she's still searching for that love he once showered her.

it's frustrating and tiring that no matter how much she tries to move on, to forget him, she just couldn't. she's so close on thinking donghyuck placed her under some spell, a curse that she wouldn't stop loving him.

she can't believe she'd been waiting for the past few days, anxiously yet patiently only for her to see him with a girl — his friend's ex lover to be exact, having a wonderful lovely lunch in a fancy restaurant.

it's painful knowing she's just waiting for nothing.

or maybe it's just a sign, a message, that she should finally let him go and it's time for her to completely move on.

when she's about to place the glass on her lips only for it to be taken away from her, making her brows knit in annoyance as she snap to look at the culprit behind such act.

only for her to froze mid-action, eyes wide as saucer as her gaze fell to that familiar dark orbs owned by no other than donghyuck lee himself.

"hyuck!" she squek, standing up abruptly only to stumble with her own two feet, with swift motion, donghyuck manage to held her, guiding her back to her feet. "anong ginagawa mo dito?" she ask, still in the state of surprise.
