Chaeyoung got dressed and headed out to the coffee shop–Well it's actually called Llukss Coffee.
The building might have looked nice and cozy from the outside and inside but in reality there were many things that didn't work there.
Like how the clock was stuck and never fixed ever since she started working there, she had asked about it many times but everyone stayed quiet.
It was weird, but she never said anything about it again. No one mentioned anything, she barely talked to any of her co workers.
The next weird and suspicious thing was the locked door at the corner of the staff room. It would only open with a 4 digit password, which Chaeyoung had never figured out–or never tried out.
She was scared that it might have fired an alarm or something, she wasn't the most brave person but also wasn't the most coward.
Despite everything, it was the only job that was convenient for her and was quite well paying.
The beams of light shone on the pathway as Chaeyoung walked, the air fresh and clear unlike the polluted ones.
The strangely calming sound of people's chattering as she walked through the busy streets. Everyone rushing to do their own things, some stopping to talk to their friends while others rushed to work, some stopping to shop by the streets while others crowded around those street performances to watch.
It felt calming to hear the children's laughter from the playground as they played with each other, mornings were always bright and lively there, managing to plaster a cheerful smile on Chaeyoung's face, one that was able to brighten anyone's day.
The sound of car's horning, waiting impatiently for the traffic to be gone.
All these happening in Chaeyoung's surroundings, yet she couldn't scratch off the feeling that someone was following her.
It was her senses, it was always right, she felt scared, her smile wavered, biting her bottom lip habitually, her hand gripping tightly on her sling bag hoping to ease her fear.
She looked at the reflective glass from the clothing store she was passing by, managing to catch a glimpse of a hooded man whose head was tilted downwards.
She turned her head back front in the speed of light as the man looked up, feeling herself panicking, her footsteps quickened, feeling andrenaline pumping through her veins as she continued speed walking but trying to not make it as obvious at the same time.
" Almost there..Just need to cross this road." she mumbled to herself, feeling her heart racing.
She looked at the dark alleyway, remembering the boy from yesterday.
For some unknown reason, some part of her wished he was here right now.
But she looked away from the alley, knowing it was useless to hope for something that would never come.
She tilted her head downwards, hoping to hide amongst the crowd, waiting for the light to turn green to cross the road.
But she was suddenly pulled away towards the alleyway, she gasped loudly in shock, " What the f-" she yelled but a hand covered her mouth, her voice turning muffled.
A hand was gripped tightly on one of her hand, the other covering her mouth, she thrashed around, thinking that it was the person who followed her.
" Stop moving angel or I'll just kill you right here right now." the same cold and intimidating voice echoed in her mind.
It was him.
Double updates ykyk ;) I'm not sure if I would write tomorrow that's why but I wanted to write anyways-
