" You mean the coffee shop where I killed someone in?" Jaemin said, " and you hid the body at a really bad spot that it was found so easily and the shop had to close because of it."
" Mhm, exactly that," Chaeyoung hummed, " it wasn't a bad spot, I just didn't know where to put it."
" Whatever, dumb as always."
" Shut the hell up, you wanna fight?"" Pft, you fighting me?" he chuckled deeply, " you can only dream of winning."
She groaned in annoyance, " let's just go tell Taeyong," she muttered out through gritted teeth, before walking over to the door, gesturing for the boy to lead the way.
The two walked through the hallway crowded with doors with different designs. The boy walked ahead while the girl slowly followed behind, glancing inside some of the rooms with open doors.
Some rooms were occupied with two or more people playing games together or watching movies while others were absent of any humans.
The two walked into the leader's office, standing in front of his table as he typed on his computer.
" Did the two of you find anything?" Taeyong questioned, eyes shifting towards the two.
" The locked door," Chaeyoung said, " It's at Llukss cafe, the place where I worked at." Jaemin nodded along.
" You sure?" Taeyong asked as the girl hummed in response. " Okay then, Jaemin plan the mission, we should go tonight so that it'll be discreet, bring Ten so that he can hack the lock."
" Wait, what about me?" Chaeyoung whined, eager to follow them.
" You're staying here, where it's safe."" Fine," the girl uttered out as disappointment whirled in her, feeling the urge to bail on him and sneakily follow them.
" Now, leave, I have things to do," he spoke, his attention diverting back to the computer screen as his fingers started to type vigorously again.
Jaemin and Chaeyoung left the office, closing the door behind them. The girl huffed out a breath, " I should go, I'm the one who knows where it is after all."
" It's at the staff room right?" Jaemin asked, eyes raking over the girl's dejected figure as she nodded her head weakly.
" No one ever touched it," she said as she thought about the times she had asked about the door back when she worked there, " It was like everyone pretended like it wasn't there, like they knew something I didn't."
Jaemin just listened, not speaking a single word as the girl continued to rant about her job and coleagues, she didn't stop not even when they entered her room.
" And everytime I said something about it they would just look at me blankly like i'm speaking some foreign language they don't understand," she rambled on, hands waving around habitually, like she always did whenever she rants to someone.
Her voice eventually became another noise to the boy, not paying a single attention to the girl's words.
" You done yet?" he said, cocking an eyebrow as his head tilted to the side, eyes looking at the her's.
" Uh..yes," she said, voice softer than before as she cower under his intimidating stare.
Jaemin nodded awkwardly, diverting his gaze to the laptop on the bed, " I guess you should continue to hack into the files, I'll go back to my room."
Before Chaeyoung could utter out a reply, he left the room, slamming the door behind him. " The door would break," she muttered to herself as she rolled her eyes.
Chaeyoung sat on her bed, sighing in disappointment. She wanted to go, really badly, but she wasn't allowed to and she didn't know the place well so she wouldn't be able to sneak out.
She grabbed the laptop as the bright screen illuminated. The girl continued from where she left off, eyes squinting in concentration.
After a few hours, she yawned, feeling tired from the hours of being in front of a screen.
" 2 levels..." she trailed off as she started to doze off. She laid back, her head on her pillow as she continued to type codes.
Her eyes grew heavy as they slowly turned smaller. Sleep took over her whole body as she fell into deep slumber.
