Bullied by Luke Hemmings

Alicia's POV

"NERD!" Luke spat whilst pushing me towards a bin walking towards school. I stumbled and almost ended up face first in the bin with a fresh half eaten breakfast roll covered in ketchup.

You see I moved to this school when my dad got a new job 5 years ago I'm 16 so I'm in year 11. I was at this school 1 week and then Luke started to bully me. My life has been a living hell since.

I waited for my best friend Ellie to turn up to the end of her road where I meet her every morning before school. She texted and said she was leaving so she would be here in like 3 minutes I looked up and saw her walking proudly down the road towards me.

"Hey Alicia. How was your summer holidays?" Ellie is the only one that knows about Luke.

"It was ok I suppose. I didn't go out because Luke was over the road at the playing fields with Calum and Michael. How was yours?"

We started our short walk towards school. I started to become scared because Luke is always standing at the school gates and I haven't seen him in 6 weeks so he has most likely got 6 weeks worth of bullying to catch up on.

"It was ok. I watched films practically everyday"

"HAHAHA that's all you ever do" I said.

We got to the gates and sure enough Luke was stood there. I tried not to make eye contact by snapping my eyes to the floor. I could feel Ellie moving closer to make sure none of them came anywhere near me. Ellie is sort of like my bodyguard she doesn't really care about what others think of her. When I'm around Ellie I can be the person I really am but when Luke, Calum, and Michael are around I become all quiet and don't talk. I briskly walked through the gates when I felt a hand on my shoulder I whipped my head round to see Luke standing there

"Hey Alicia how was your holidays?"

"Do you really care?"

"Of course. After all I do know where you live"

"Get lost Luke" Ellie growled at him

"Awww getting someone else to fight your battles. Look Ellie I like you so please stay out of this"

"Well that's awkward because I don't like you" Ellie spat at him

After she had said that it made me feel confident so I turned around stuck my tongue out at them, did a looser sign and sarcastically smiled at them. Ellie grabbed my arm pulling me into school whilst giggling.

"ALICIA!! I can't believe you"

"Well if they are going to bully me I may as well give them a reason to" I chuckled back

"look at you getting all confident"

I don't know why Luke, Calum, and Michael bully me. Without this sounding at all stuck up and stupid I'm liked by a lot of people. Some people would say I was popular but I don't like to think of it like that because that makes people think I'm stuck up, a slut and look down my nose at everyone but I don't I just act like all the others. Mine and my friends dad's all own various company's and my mum is a full time doctor. I am an only child and my parents are never home so they never spend the money so it's all left for me. Which means shopping with ma beasties Ellie W, Steph, Rachel, Ellie B, Kate, and Katy practically EVERY weekend.

We walked from the place we were walking onto our school yard all the familiar faces came back into sight people smiling and waving as me and Ellie walked onto the yard like we owned the place. Steph would usually be with us but she took the first lesson off because she had a hairdressers appointment but she told school she had the 'dentist'. Rachel had gotten a lift to school so she was at school already. Katy catches the bus in so sometimes she's there in the morning sometimes she's not. Kate had gone off to check something and Ellie B was sometimes here in he mornings but sometimes she wasn't. Me and Ellie walked towards this boy called Chris who is scared off me which is pretty hard to do. "HI CHRIS! How was your holiday?" I squealed. Every time I talk to him he frowns but smiles at the same time. Ellie called him bae before the holidays and Steph called him her best friend he turned around and frowned "Don't call me that" He mumbled.

The bell went signaling for us all to go to form. I always walk Ellie to form it's a natural routine. Ellie B then caught up to us and stood the other side of me so I was in the middle. "I'm in an Ellie sandwich" I shouted out.

"Yeah you'll be in a hate sandwich in a minute" I heard a gruff voice sneer. I turned around to see Luke, Calum, and Michael.

"Wow great one Luke! I'm really scared now" I was now wishing I hadn't said that. Luke threw his bag to the floor and shoved his folders into Calum's chest. Luke raced towards me anger rushing to his face. He was quite a while away from us but quickly gaining. I froze not knowing what to do. Then in my luck the head teacher came around the corner causing Luke to run directly into him.

"Mr Hemmings no running in school. Take this as your warning. Come along I will escort you boys to form" Luke, Michael, and Calum walked past us giving me the death stare.
