"Cara" Clay whispered. No response. She was fast asleep in his arms. He hated waking her up but he wanted to show her something. "Cara... wake up" he shook her a bit. She groaned a bit but didn't open her eyes. He shook her again.
"fuck off" she muttered.
"Wake up, stupid"
She finally opened her eyes and squinted looking up at the clock that was on the wall.
"Clay it is 6 am what do you want?"
"I wanna show you something" he started to get up from off the couch and she groaned as she fell into the empty space.
"C'mon get up"
"Okay okay" she sat up and rubbed her eyes "I'm up... damn"
He grabbed his car keys from the hook and walked over to her and grabbed her wrist, pulling her over to the door.
"Where are we going?" She asked, still groggy
"It's a surprise."
"Clay I'm still in my pajamas." She looked down at her baggy pumpkin pants and a black tank top.
"You look fine I promise" he led her to the passenger side of his car and opened the door for her. She sat down like a toddler who didn't wanna go to the dentist.
