The night finally came and Yoongi was being taken to the airport. When Taehyung found out about his plans, he had begged him to let him come with so he could spend a few days with his own girlfriend. He was now so full of energy and the older one was just tired after the concert.

"Yoongi hyung!" he said for the umpteenth time and he just wanted to choke him, but remained patient "what is the plan?" Tae said with a bright box smile he couldn't help as he was beyond excited.

"I need to drop by the dorms first" he explained "I'll pick up some stuff, then I'll drive you to your girlfriend's." The younger one nodded in agreement.

"Congrats on your anniversary, by the way!" his dongsaeng said and he smiled gratefully "what do you have planned?"

"I got her a gift I had shipped to the dorms" he said and Tae waited hoping to hear some more.

"Is that all?" the younger one asked with furrowed eyebrows after a couple seconds of silence and Yoongi felt uncomfortable. Was that not enough? He was suddenly worried. "How about some flowers?" Tae proposed and he nodded, he could get some for sure. "What are you wearing to surprise her?" he continued with the questions.

"Uh, this?" his hyung replied and then he looked disappointed. It was just a comfortable outfit to fly, a pair of jeans with a t-shirt, a plain hoodie and a beanie.

"I can help you choose another outfit" Tae said hopeful and the older one just nodded to make him happy. Sure, why not, he thought. "It's a whole year, it's got to be special" the younger one continued and Yoongi was surprised he was not done.

"Are you taking her out somewhere nice?" his dongsaeng asked warily, afraid of the answer, and he swallowed before shaking his head no. Was he really that clueless? He thought just showing up with a nice gift and spending time with you would be nice and sweet.

Was there really a need for more? He could feel his anxiety building up and his heart dropped. Not now, he didn't need this now, he tried to remain calm. "Thanks, Taehyung-ah" he wanted to make him shut up for his own sake "I will figure it out." That seemed to do the trick as he flashed a satisfied smile and looked back out the window.

Gift. Flowers. Nice outfit. He went over the things Taehyung mentioned in his head. Maybe he could ask you where you wanted to go, it could be dinner or coffee, whatever you preferred. Yoongi thought you would have wanted to stay in and he'd rather do that considering he wasn't even supposed to be in Seoul during this time.

He would do anything you wanted though, he had hoped this would be special. However, now that his dongsaeng had listed all these things, he wondered if the little he had planned was underwhelming. Taehyung had meant well and he should have felt grateful for his help, but it had made him really nervous and he was not happy about it.

Yoongi had seen it from his point of view, just cuddling together in bed and maybe watching a movie. Making up for the time apart enjoying yourselves doing what you usually did, which you hadn't been able to do in months. It had sounded like a good plan and he didn't think twice about it. He was not so sure anymore.

As usual, Yoongi couldn't get any sleep. The flight was only two hours long, but since early in the morning when they started with the preparations of the concert and up until now, he hadn't stopped. Taehyung was luckily sleeping on the seat next to him.

So far everything had gone well, with the masks, the hats and the simple clothing they hadn't been spotted. Hopefully once they landed in Seoul it would go as smoothly. The press had a way of finding out about every little thing though, Yoongi's major concern was being spotted and you hearing he was back in the country.
