I Will Wait

Always moving, never stay.
Stay nowhere more than a day.
Always fleeing, move around.
Never get caught in one town.

Here and there, and everywhere.
Sometimes it does not seem fair.
Always gone, so why do I
Long to see her in my eye?

I know she'll leave, once again.
But I will wait, in her den.
She'll return, come back to me.
Then it's time for her to leave.

I know I'm not worth her time,
So I offer all of mine.
When she goes or she is late,
I will always stay and wait.

Gone, returned, and gone once more,
Still I love her evermore.
And so I wait for the day,
That she returns, now to stay.
