To Return

Lady Merlin here and there,
Flying through the sunlit air.
Going about with no care,
Always to return.

On dangerous trips we go,
To face very fearsome foes,
This may be our last, we know,
Sometimes to return,

I pray my love will survive,
The day I know will arrive,
When I give my mortal life,
Never to return.
